SURFside: Charming Ocean View Retreat & Villa
Steps to the ocean, pristine snorkeling and watersports, "SURFside Villa" offers 4 downstairs ocean view bedrooms, with upstairs kitchen, dining, living room areas, large deck and pool. Perfect for couples and larger families, retreats , watersports enthusiasts and adventurists. Amazing location and less than 10 min walk to restaurants and marina. Beach access is directly in front of the villa. Rooms are clean, private, fresh and comfy. A historical ruin is nestled in the garden & pool area. SURFside Villa is set high on a ridge in the Turtle Cove area, among old growth trees and shrubs and every suite and north facing window has a breathtaking ocean view. The house has an authentic Boho-Caribbean vibe and was originally built to host yoga retreats and groups and/or operate as a boutique hotel. The Villa is perfect for larger groups, couples and families. It's soulful vibe is unique and one that we enjoy and our guests have thoroughly enjoyed as well (read our reviews!). If you're looking for a newly built modern luxury villa this may not be for you, but if you're looking for a warm, charming, island-like home close to the water with amazing views and loads of outdoor space, SURFside Villa is just right. Upstairs from the rooms by the owners quarters, there exists a 17th century plantation ruin set among a garden area with chairs and seating. The numerous aloe plants offer food to the hummingbirds which are plentiful year round. There is a new 42x15 foot pool for your use, with a super large oceanview wooden deck for lounging, entertaining, yoga, fitness and more, as well as a patio surrounding the main house for outdoor dining, entertaining and relaxing too. In the winter months look out past the reef for migration humpback whales (Jan to April). The beach access is directly in front of the villa, and there exists a walkway to get to the roads with paved sidewalks to access from the villa. World class snorkeling exists at the reef and the beach is not heavily trafficked or used like the hotel areas of Grace Bay beach. It is a quieter beach, and a very special spot. The rooms are simple, clean, and have A/C should you feel you need, but likely will not in the winter months. The area is safe and is among other villas and larger homes that are well cared for. The upstairs area with kitchen and living room does not currently have AC but is well-ventilated with lots of windows for the fresh NE tradewind breezes. We also own and operate SURFside Ocean Academy, an outdoor adventure school, so are happy to act as an on-site concierge and advise for adventures such as SUP, kiting, kayaking, scuba, freediving, babysitting, snorkeling, private boat charters, sea turtle conservation programs, day trips to North and Middle Caicos, and more! We can customize any adventure as well. Additionally, the host is a certified yoga instructor and is available for private yoga sessions at the Villa too. The guests have full access to the Villa with free parking onsite that can accommodate 4 -5 vehicles. Currently the owner lives in separate quarters on property but will not be part of the guests experience unless requested. There is also a beautiful outside garden area with 17th century plantation ruins that guests may use for reading or lounging as well. Turtle Cove is less than 10 minute walk and has access to several great restaurants and bars with a side walk and lights at night. Morgan’s home is located in Providenciales, Turks and Caicos Islands, Turks and Caicos Islands. The neighborhood is my favorite place to live, hang, snorkel, relax on all of Provo! It is a relatively quiet area (there is a 2 lane road below the villa so can have regular traffic noise from cars during the day) in a residential area with other larger homes and villas. It's just steps from the ocean which makes the location a great place for watersports enthusiasts, snorkelers, kiters, yogis, and families. Safe, and close to amenities and restaurants, it's the perfect location for a vacation or adventure experience in the Turks and Caicos Islands. Unfortunately, there is no public transportation in the Turks and Caicos Islands. Renting a bicycle, scooter or car is recommended for longer 'road trips' around Provo. Most places, however, you can access by foot and as the main roads have sidewalks, they are a great and healthy mode to get around too.
