Your own private stylish Guest Suite within Hosts modern 2 storey home. You will have a queen size bedroom, private tv room, kitchenette/laundry with sink, microwave, bar fridge, kettle, elec frypan, toaster, crockery, cutlery, 1 hob hotplate etc, suitable for light meals only. Private bathroom and toilet. Shared front door entry and washing machine. A short drive to the beach and walk to Carine Open Space. Complimentary tea coffee and wifi. Cleaned thoroughly to Covid requirements We provide more than a private room but a private suite with several rooms for your use located together in a passage leading off the entry hall within the hosts home. Consisting of a bedroom, bathroom and separate toilet/powder room next door and a lounge/tv room all at the front of the house. The kitchenette/laundry (not a full kitchen) is located on the opposite side of the shared main entry hall . No stairs. You have a small dining table and chairs in the tv room which can also be used as a desk if needed. PLEASE NOTE THE 2 BEDS SHOWN ON LISTING CONSIST OF 1 QUEEN BED, AND 1 FOLDAWAY BED SUITABLE FOR A CHILD ONLY SET UP ON REQUEST. THE SETTEE IN TV ROOM CAN BE CONVERTED TO A COMFORTABLE SINGLE BED SUITABLE FOR AN ADULT. PLEASE ADVISE WHEN BOOKING IF THIS IS REQUIRED AS WE USUALLY ONLY HAVE THE QUEEN BED PREPARED. If you require a bed for a 3rd guest (for an additional small fee to cover additional expenses) we can erect a single fold away bed in your bedroom where there is only a queen size bed. It is suitable for a child under 12. Alternatively the settee in the living room can be converted to a comfortable single bed for an adult at night by removing the backing cushions. Sheets, pillow and doona are provided for this. An economical option for 3 guests on a short term stay. Our home is in the safe and coastal Northern suburb of Carine. 1 minute drive from Reid Highway that is a direct Link to the airport and runs from the East and the Swan Valley wineries to West and the beaches. 1 minute to the Mitchell Freeway which runs from North to South and is a direct link to the CBD which takes 12 minutes driving, the South West and Margaret River and north to Joondalup and the Northern corridor. 5 minute drive West to popular Northern beaches and Hillarys marina is nearby. Shared areas with Host are the front door and entry hall into the house and use of washing machine located in your kitchenette/laundry area. Main rooms have very effective ceiling fans with remote controls and centrally controlled ducted reverse cycle air con. Please note AC is not on 24/7. Access to a lovely small backyard overlooking a park where you can sit and have a coffee/wine and observe bird life and trees. We reside in the rear and upstairs section of the house and access our own private area upstairs from a stair case in the shared main entry hall. You have your own keys to come and go as you please. We have travelled extensively and value the benefits of securing good, clean, quality, value for money and safe accommodation. We also use Airbnb when we travel. As Neil and I also Iive on the premises we are always available for any information, interaction or assistance you may require but are aware of and respect your privacy as we expect guests to be respectful of our home. Carine is a centrally located suburb and only 15 minutes by car or train from the CBD. About a 25 minute drive from the airport and 5 minutes drive from the beach. Is one of the nicest, safest, friendly and upmarket suburbs in the Northern coastal district of the Perth metro area. Carine Open Space (nature reserve and sporting ovals) is a 5 minute walk away. There are also horses there and wetlands. Our house backs onto a lovely park and consequently there is a lot of bird life. A 10 minute drive to Hillarys Marina which has numerous eateries, shops, fabulous swimming area and where you can catch a fast ferry to Rottnest to take a selfie with a Quokka. Not far from Ikea, Karrinyup, Innaloo and Warwick shopping centres and a local shopping centre Carine Glades that is about a 15 minute walk , 2 minute drive and has a gourmet supermarket, takeaway fish and chips, fresh fruit and veg, deli, bakery, newsagent, pharmacy Italian restaurant, coffee shop etc. Carine Tavern is next door to the shopping centre. Popular beaches a 5 minute drive away. A large cinema complex, bowling alley and various take-aways are located next to the Warwick Grove Shopping Centre. Karrinyup and Hamersley golf courses are a short drive away. It is very central and neighbours take pride in their homes and gardens. 15 minutes walk or 2 minutes by car to the Warwick train and bus Station which is located on the Joondalup/Mandurah line and also takes you into the Perth CBD in 15 minutes. This train line also takes you to Rockingham and Mandurah. Mitchell Fwy and Reid Hwy which are main arteries to the whole of Perth are only 1 minutes drive away but we are in a quiet pocket. Safe parking for a vehicle is available at the front of the house on a quiet street or on the verge opposite or at the top left hand side of the driveway. Our location is best suited to guests with a vehicle or hire car. Generally it is recommended for Perth as it is a very sprawling spread out city. We offer complimentary tea, coffee, sugar, assorted condiments and milk on arrival. All amenities are available to make your own light meals and snacks but there is NOT a full stove/oven in your kitchenette only a 1 burner hotplate, electric frypan and microwave We provide toiletries and a hair dryer We will consider earlier checkin and later checkout dependent on other bookings. We try to be eco friendly. Please turn off Lights, fans and EXHAUST fans in toilet and rooms when exiting. We have fully ducted air conditioning / heating which is controlled centrally. Usually operating when required and turned off later in the evening. We also have ceiling fans in the bedroom and tv room which are very effective. As we live on the premises we will always be there to welcome you and give you the keys but would need to know your approximate time of arrival and departure so we can ensure we are available to receive back the keys. Would you also give a brief rundown on reason for your visit. If departing very early in the morning house keys can be left on the hall table and depart without locking front door, or leave the keys in the letterbox. For stays longer than a week I do a thorough clean of the apartment and wash and change sheets every 7 days. Towels can be changed as required. The suite is cleaned thoroughly to Covid recommendations. Guests are required to be fully vaccinated as per WA government requirements.
