Bayview is a comfortable, light and airy newly refurbished 3 bedroom family home situated in the suburbs of Havant, Hampshire just north of the sea side town of Hayling Island and borders the quaint fishing harbour village of Emsworth, West Sussex. Bayview is a fantastic base to explore the beautiful south coast beaches and woodland walks. The Historic City of Portsmouth, The South Downs and the market towns of Chichester and Petersfield are also within easy reach by car, bus or train. Bayview offers off road parking for at least 2 cars and 3 good sized bedrooms upstairs with ample storage and hanging space. The master bedroom has a comfy memory foam topped kingsize bed, bedroom 2 has 2 single beds with memory foam mattresses and the 3rd bedroom has bunk beds, also with memory foam mattresses. The main bathroom upstairs is fitted with a bath with rain shower over, hand shower, sink and toilet. Downstairs has a welcoming hallway with plenty of space to hang your coats and put your shoes. ( We respectfully ask our guests to remove their shoes, as the house has brand new carpets fitted). To the left of the hallway is a large living room with a bay window and an electric feature fireplace. Further down the hallway is the spacious well equipped kitchen diner with a table and chairs to seat 6 and everything we feel you will need to make your stay comfortable and 'home from home', including a gas oven and hob, fridge freezer, microwave, bosch coffee machine, kettle, toaster, washing machine and tumble dryer. The property has a small, secure and private paved back yard with table and chairs, fire pit and a b-b-q. ( Please provide your own charcoal etc). These are all stored in the brick built shed for safe keeping and protection from the elements. The property is provided on a self-catering basis but we will provide some tea, coffee and sugar; together with towels and toilet paper. There is usually salt, pepper and cooking oil available along with foil, cling film, a dishcloth, scourer and tea towel for your convenience. There is a handy shop within 2 minutes walk for anything you may forget! We have provided beach chairs, a cool bag, blocks and a picnic set, should you wish to take advantage of the local country parks, woodland walks and beaches. Late check outs and early check ins maybe possible. The key is accessed via a key safe on the property. A second set will be available in the property. The code will be sent a few days before your arrival date. PLEASE NOTE: Although we do not provide some baby equipment, to include a travel cot with mattress, a mamas and papas baby seat booster chair, changing mat, safety set and toilet seat; families are welcome to bring their own necessary belongings and safety equipment. There is ample room to position a cot or 2 and there is no additional charge for extra guests! Entire house and secure paved rear garden with rear access also. We endeavour to make your stay as wonderful as possible but in the event of any problems, please message us with any questions or queries, we will respond as quickly as possible. Please note that this property is Self Check-in and keys to the property are held in an external Key Safe. The handle needs to be pulled down at the same time as turning the key. Please strip all beds and place linen in the bath, along with all other used towels. This helps to keep the cleaning charge low. Bayview is ideally situated between the rolling South Downs countryside, city centres of Portsmouth and Chichester and some of the best beaches on the south coast, including Hayling Island and its famous ‘Billy Line’, *West Wittering and Southsea. The vibrant yet peaceful town of Emsworth is less than 10 minutes drive away, offering an array of things to do from quaint pub lunches, afternoon teas and icecreams to the possibility of sailing, kayaking and windsurfing for the more adventurous. The quintessential seaside town of Hayling Island is equally close by. It has a long established fun fair, a sea front railway line, a donkey sanctuary along with ice cream parlours and fish ‘n’ chip restaurants galore! Havant town centre is a 30 minute walk, where there is a train station with direct links to all major routes, including London Waterloo. Portsmouth ferries are just a 15 minute drive away, according to (Hidden by Airbnb) maps. *Please note: If wishing to visit the hugely popular beach of West Witterings, you will need to pre book your car parking spot well in advance to avoid disappointment. The nearest train station is just a 30 minute stroll away and there are good bus links too. Further info can be found in the property. We do request all guests remove their shoes upon enterıng the property. New mens & womens slıppers are provıded at the property for you. Please do not leave any washing up and remove any rubbish and place in the wheelie bins found at the rear of the property. Padlock code (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) Rubbish collection or recycling is every Tuesday. The house is professionally cleaned between guests which is why a fee is charged per booking. One bath towel is provided per guest, as well as kitchen t-towel and towel plus bath mat and hand towel. Leave all used towels ın the bath - thank you ın advance. Early check in and late check out is sometimes possible which we can often accommodate free of charge. TV ın lounge ıs a Smart TV and has Freevıew channels avaılable alongsıde your free fast wıfı provıded by Vırgınmedıa - the tv ın the Master Bedroom ıs also a Smart TV but does not have any TV channels avaılable but ıs set up to allow access to your personal Netflıx Amazon or Now TV accounts. There is a selectıon of Books DVDs and games at the property which you are welcome to use. Please remember to replace for future guest enjoyment. We also supply extension leads, one with USB port and small mirrors in bedrooms. There ıs desk space in bedroom 2.
