Stay at Josephine's and have the house to yourself

Josephine's House is over 100 years old and was totally remodeled in 2008. I rent out the entire house, all you need are your personal things. The whole house is for the guests. Unfortunately the house being over 120 years old is not handicap accessible. And I know you love your pets. Between me and my 2 girls we have 4 dogs, 4 cats, a bearded dragon, and 2 fish tanks. But for my guests that have severe pet allergies, I don’t allow pets. You can never get the hair and dander out enough for someone who is highly allergic. The entire house and yard is for the guests. I live nearby and am available if a problem arises. I usually try to let the guests check in by themselves and wind down from traveling. Then I will meet with them sometime before they leave and introduce myself. Sometimes I don’t get to meet guests because I am traveling or seeing to my crawfish ponds or 4 grandkids, but I try really hard to meet everyone that comes into the house. Josephine's is 2 short blocks, a 5 minute walk, from downtown where there are restaurants, coffee and antique shops, and music. Bayou Teche is only 1 block away. Lake Martin is 4.5 miles from the house. The Lafayette Airport is 7 miles. The Atchafalaya Basin is 5.3 miles. I keep tons of travel brochures in the house for you to rummage through and find fun things to do and great places to eat. There are 4 small rent houses on the street and all are occupied by friends who are mostly from the area and very friendly. There is a parking space next to the house and another one in front. If there are 6 guests, 2 of them have to sleep on the sleeper sofa in the den. It is a queen size but it is in front of the doorway and will have to be picked up every day.
