B&B Penucha Grove, a peaceful oasis in Sabina
Penucha Grove is an 800 year old farmhouse, once also an olive oil mill. There are 3 double bedrooms (Cardinal's Room, Monks' Room & Baroness Room), which can all be booked together or individually, with period furniture and an ensuite bathroom. Breakfast is served in the Coats of Arms room or outside on the garden terrace. The setting is peaceful, off the beaten track yet there are plentiful villages and hilltop towns to explore, including Fara Sabina and Farfa, famous for its Abbey. Stay in an 800 year old farmhouse and former oil mill, nestled amongst the olive groves of the Sabina area. Rome is a short train ride away and there plentiful charming country villages to explore. Visit the local agriturismi for authentic local cuisine. Full access to the garden and living room. We live on the premises so will greet you on arrival. Discover the real Italy, off the beaten tourist track. Our home has been restored with love, respecting its simple country feel. A car is essential as we are off the beaten track in the heart of the countryside. That said, we are a 10 minute drive from the railway station at Fara Sabina, with regular connections to Rome. We are animal lovers so if you feel the same you will enjoy meeting our two dogs and six cats.
