There are multiple options for commuting to NYC and around Westchester. Our home is near several Beeline bus stops; (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) . There is a #2 bus stop less than a minute’s walk from our front door, the last stop (approximately 25 minutes) being the NYC Subway station 242nd Street Van Cortlandt Park – Red Line #1 train. This is the most economical way to travel around NYC and Westchester @ $2.75 each with a Metro Card. We are about 1 mile from the Yonkers Train Station, where you can take Metro North – Hudson Line to Grand Central Station. This train requires a different type of ticket, which you can purchase at the train station – the cost is between $8-$11 dollars each way, depending on time of travel.
