It is ideal for a couple with children. As soon as you cross the doorstep with your family, you will discover real wildlife within Sologne magnificent nature. The bigger adjacent house might be rented at the same time but don't worry, there's a lot independant spaces and separated accesses. You need a car to reach us. About 1H 45 from Paris. A71 highway. Exit: Lamotte-Beuvron (where the famous Tarte Tatin’s was created!). Then follow La Ferté-Beauharnais. Peace has a price! The house is set between two villages: one is located at less than two kilometers away and the other at three kilometers away. Don’t worry, you will not be completely isolated! The Sologne, for those who do not know, is a wild region where it is common to meet animals. Deer, ducks, herons, pheasants inhabit the estate: you will be their guest! The house is located on the former Beauharnais family’ property, next to the castle where Empress Joséphine, Napoleon’s wife, used to stay. The Château de Chambord and the local goat cheese will complete your stay and make you fall in love with the region. It is not a problem to park your car on the property, you won’t risk any fines. Your vehicle will enjoy the great outdoors and open air. Do not rely on public transport. As the wild rabbits are rather sedentary, buses are inexistent. If you really don’t want to drive, there is the Lamotte-Beuvron railway station, 18 kilometers away, and then you can call a local taxi. For shopping, you can ride one of the available bicycles available and reach the nice minimarket located less than two kilometers away. Pets are welcome. Unless your cat likes to claw armchairs and your old dog is incontinent.
