The beautiful areas of Sandycove, Dalkey and Killiney are all within walking distance. Taking a walk down Dun Laoghaire's famous East Pier is a must for guests. Dun Laoghaire, Sandycove and Dalkey have some fabulous places to eat, with a great choice of traditional Seafood, Indian, Thai and Italian restaurants. Ask the host for tips on eating out. It's a 10 minute walk to the nearest train station with regular trains into Dublin city centre and other areas. Journey time is usually just over 20 minutes to Dublin's Pearse Street station. There is a bus stop just around the corner from the house with frequent buses into the city. The Aircoach bus service is probably the easiest way to get to Dun Laoghaire from Dublin airport. Take the bus towards Dalkey/Killiney and ask the driver to stop at the Royal Marine hotel in Dun Laoghaire. For guests with their own car, on street parking can be arranged. Guests should be aware that they are liable for any damage that they cause to property. The host wants you to enjoy her house but to be responsible and respectful during your stay.
