Yellow room+ for 1-4 guests @ South Shore bungalow

Our guest may use the entire main floor of our bungalow; When other guests are home the main floor bathroom and kitchen are shared space. 1 guest gets one bedroom. 2 guest gets 1 bedroom, 3 guest will get 2 bedrooms, 4 guest gets 2 bedrooms, 5 guest = 3 bedrooms. Guest may pay for an additioal guest ifyou want one person to a room. Our home is close to public transport, the Uof C, beach, Walgreens, Pizza, ATM bus Just 15-25 min to down town. Clean comfortable beds, covers, towels and washrags. Our house - South Side of Chicago, 10 minutes from down town Chicago, 15 to 25 minutes by bus or train and 5 to 15 minutes away from the University of Chicago by car, or by bike. 10 minutes walk from one it the sand beach on Lake Michigan which is behind the South Shore Cultural Center, the Chicago bike path to down town, 2 nine hole golf courses at the South Shore Cultural Center and the Jackson Park Harbor. The CTA bus and Metra train are a block away. 3 private rooms. Bed Sheets, towels and duvet covers are Egyptian cotton. Our home is a single dwelling Historic Chicago Bungalow built in 1918. Each of the three levels is about one thousand eight hundred square foot. We have eight bedrooms with two to five rooms are available for guests. There is a backyard quiet with a water fountain. One room has queen size bed one has a full size bed and one room has a single bed. We are a family of three sometimes four with our live in house assistant to help with cleaning. We also have a dog and a cat. 1 to 2 guest =1 bd rm, 3 + 4 guest = 2 bed rooms. The home is close to public transport, the Uof C, beach, Walgreens, Pizza, ATM bus Just 15-25 min to down town. Clean comfortable shared, kitchen & bath Guest will have access to the main floor, which has the kitchen, living room, dining room, two bedrooms and a shower/tub bathroom. The lower level has the additional bedroom, back yard, and tree house sun deck.. We will interact as per guest request, for checking in with you periodically to going sailing and having Sunday morning meals together. If gas or disrespectful or rude to myself or the other guest they will be asked to leave. Our neighborhood is called South Shore, Chicago. It is an socio-economically mixed part of the city. The main street is busy but our block is relatively quite. We are 10 minutes walk from Lake Michigan where we go to the beach and harbor is a 20 minute walk and you are invited to go sailing with us when the boat is in the water and if time allows. There are also two nine hole golf course 10 minutes walk away. Chicago has a bike path that is 18 miles long which starts here in South Shore and follows the lake front along all the parks and beached to down town and to the north side of Chicago and back that will be 36 miles. It is a beautiful ride. The Museum on Science and Industry is 2km / 1 1/2 miles away on the bike path. The President of the United States lives in the next neighborhood to us and you can visit his home. When he is home traffic gets interrupted, but we are used to that. Three blocks away is the Express busses to down town Chicago, and the Chicago Metra train system. The CTA Jump bus #14 stops at 71st and Jeffery Blvd and it takes you down town to the city. It starts running after 5:30 am and stops about 10:30 to 11:30 pm. The Metra train also stops at Bryn Mawr train stop by 71 st and Jeffery Blvd. From Ohare Air Port From O'Hare Airport you will take the CTA blueline train to downtown Chicago. You will exit on the Monroe Street stop. At the Monroe Street stop you will take the CTA #14 Jeffrey Jump Bus. The Jeffrey Jump Bus will go through downtown and get on the expressway called Lake Shore Drive, you will get off the bus on the second stop after the bus exits the Lake Shore Drive express way at the 71st Street. Bus stop. You will be at 71st Street and Jeffrey (email hidden). and Jeffrey Boulevard you will walk south on Jeffrey Boulevard to 72nd Pl. that's two (email hidden) (Place). you'll make a left turn going east to Merrill Avenue. My house is at the end of the block the address is 7224 South Merrill Ave. my house on the corner and you'll see a colorful blue flag that says full house. Please enter through the back gate that it's a wooden gate that 6 feet tall this is the entrance into the garden. Our family will be waiting for you. CTA 3 day passes cost The CTA bus's three day pass cost $20 The seven day pass is $28 The seven day pass with Metra is $33. How to get from Midway Airport to 7224 S Merrill Ave. 1.Depart CHICAGO MIDWAY AIRPORT 2. Walk SOUTH from Skybridge 3. Take CTA Train Orange Line (Loop) Fares: $2.25 Distance: 8.0 Miles 4. Walk EAST from E Roosevelt Rd to Columbus Drive 5.Walk one block north to 11th Street and Columbus Dr. bus stop Take CTA Bus J14 (103rd/Stony Island) Depart Roosevelt Rd and Columbus Dr. Arrive at: Jeffery Blvd & 71st Street Fares: $2.25 Distance: 7.8 Miles 6. Walk SOUTH from S Jeffery Blvd to 72nd Pl 7. Arrive 7224 S Merrill Ave 8. After ringing doorbell under the blue Flag, enter by the back gate into garden. There are bicycles available to be rented for $7.00 per day by 71st and Jeffery Blvd or 71st Street and South Shore Drive right next to the South Shore Cultural Center. There you can Catch the Jeffery # 6 to down town. You are allowed to carry the bicycle on the bus. Each bus is equipped with a bike rack in front of the bus. Don't forget a bike lock. Have a safe trip. :-) Guests must clean the space that they are using. Common spaces must be kept clean. If you use the kitchen you must clean it, sweep and mop the floors wipe off the counters. If you use a refrigerator you must wipe it out it periodically, if you make a spill, clean it up immediately. If you’re using the kitchen you must clean up after each use. The floor needs to be swept and mopped. If you have a spill please wipe it up immediately. If you use an appliance you must wipe it down. If you use the toaster you need to make sure the tree is cleaned and put back so the next guest has a clean toaster to use this goes for all appliances. The counter needs to be free of all debris. Once a week the tray for the dishes must be cleaned and washed. After using the bathroom please make sure it is clean. The shower should be sprayed with an antibacterial solution that is provided and wiped. This is the same for the sink and the toilet. All areas must be wiped after use especially during Covid. The entrance is on the side of the house. The front door faces 72nd Place. We enter from the rear entrance leading out to the garden.
