Enjoy your stay at the Gateway to Sonoma County in a comfortable bedroom with its own private full bath. Whether you are visiting family, working a temp job, relocating to Petaluma, this is a nice quiet place for you. The room looks out at Redwoods and the serene backyard. My house is modern, very clean, convenient to dining, shopping & Sonoma and Napa Counties. A 30 minute drive to the coast or San Francisco. Feel free to message me about your stay. Your room is located at the end of the hall, and has its own full bath. The room is quiet and has a relaxing feel. The room looks out at the backyard. There is wifi, and cable. There are no other tenants except myself, so its pretty private here. * Note, I am sensitive to highly scented products, like perfumed body wash, cologne and laundry detergent. So if you use those, this isn't a match. Feel free to relax outside in the back or front, listen to the birds, enjoy the redwoods. There is a fairly big living room with area to stretch and do yoga or read. There is a refrigerator in the kitchen and laundry privileges are available. * If you plan on doing laundry, hours of use are between 9 am - 9 pm. And as mentioned, no commercial scented laundry wash , please. Parking available on the street. Please respect that I work at home during the day and expect you to be away during the working day hours. You can have your space to come and go with or without a lot of interaction. I work at home, so I will be around to assist. FYI: You are sharing my house with me, this is not a separate unit, your room and bathroom are next to my office down the hall from the front door and my bedroom. I welcome friendly guests. I ask that you leave the kitchen, bathroom and bedroom clean, and respect my privacy. If you come in after 10pm, move around quietly as my room is near the front door and ideally you are quiet in the am until 8am. Thank you & I look forward to hosting you . Sonoma county has so much to offer. Petaluma is the gateway to wineries, breweries, great restaurants and farms, local cheesemakers, nature, airports and the ocean is a half hour away. Petaluma has many music venues, its a great walking & biking town, river access, local airport and Santa Rosa airport, and the SMART train. San Francisco, Marin county, and Napa all within an hour driving distance. It's easy to get around, and minutes from Trader Joe's, Whole Foods and fabulous organic farms. We are 5 minutes off Hwy. 101. Local transportation is available, plus Uber, Lyft and the SMART Train. 20 minutes to the town of Sonoma. There is an AIRPORTER BUS to SFO and Oakland, that is 5 minutes away. Plus the Santa Rosa airport is 30 minutes away and super convenient if you fly in and out of there. Parking in town is free, and we are bike friendly as well. There is a lot of parking on my street. If you want to ask questions before booking, please message me.
