Summer Hill is a rare suburb, known for its village atmosphere, restaurants and town piazza, all within close proximity to the city. Best option is to walk to shops and public transport to other destinations (eg. train to city, tram to darling harbour, Chinatown, bus down Parramatta Road). We are 10kms from the airport (25 minutes, about $35 by taxi, 50 minutes by train). If you are driving here and need parking, please note that on one side of our street we have all day free parking and the other side has a 2 hour limit for non-residents up to 6pm. There are usually spots available at most times of the day.
