The Little House in the Redwoods right in Arcata.

My place is close to the city center, parks, art and culture, and public transport. It is a cozy little gem snuggled into the edge of the Redwoods of the Arcata Community Forest, walking distance to town. The extensive and wonderful trails of the Community Forest are directly accessible, the center of town is a 15-20 min walk and the ocean and Eureka are both 10min away by car. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and furry friends (pets). The house was built by my son's Dad and myself in 2015. It is a very loving, cozy space with radiant floor heating as well as a wood stove upstairs. Your room has its own entrance with 2 locking doors. There are 2 bathrooms, one with a shower and one with a clawfoot tub. Both are available. You are free to use the kitchen, dining area and the living room with its wood stove. I am usually close by and available to help you via text if not. This is a quiet cul-de-sac close to town with many families living on the street. Although it's close to town, sometimes a deer or one of my neighbor's ducks wanders onto the road. It is usually very quiet at night with next to no traffic. Sometimes, dogs or kids are present. The center of town is a 15-20 min walk or 5 min by car. The ocean and Eureka are both 10 minutes away by car. Walking trails are directly accessible.
