Private studio in great location

A sustainable sunny single room studio, set in the garden and away from the main house. Includes comfortable queen-size bed, TV, kitchenette and bathroom. Wi-Fi included. A two minute walk to the train station (30 mins to CBD). The studio is set away from the main house, nestled in the tree-filled yard. The newly-renovated facilities include a kitchenette (with microwave, toaster, fridge and kettle) and bathroom (toilet and shower). The toilet is run off tank water and solar panels power the place (and hot water) during the day. We have just recently installed an air conditioner/heater - this is automatically set to run during daylight hours (when we're making solar power) and isn't able to be turned on at night. Please note that access to the studio is a little steep and not recommended for low-mobility travellers. For those travelling by car, there is one car space (small car only) available off the street, and there is plenty of free street parking. Guests are free to enjoy the backyard. If you require clothes washer, this is shared with the main house. We live in the main house and are happy to provide recommendations and advice. Shops and some restaurants are located nearby (less than 10 minute walk). One thing to note is that we are near the train line and normal trains are not noisy and are quite pleasant however the freight trains are sometimes quite loud. We do not wake up when they pass, but light sleepers might. We will include earplugs next to the bed if it becomes a problem. Well serviced train station is very close by (2 minute walk to station, 30 minute by train to CBD). We are also located close to bus services (less than 10 minute walk) to CBD and Parramatta.
