Norton Hill BnB is a traditional BnB with a host on site in the heart of scenic Ashfield; destination of outdoor enthusiasts, writers, theater goers, and seekers of local epicurean delights! The home is spacious and ideal for group gatherings. Guests may also rent individual rooms; See additional AirBnB listings. Common areas include the dining room, parlor, and a porch that overlooks the yard. Please fully review 'The Space' & 'House Rules' details prior to reserving for a party, or a pet. Guests have use of the entire second floor that includes five bedrooms and two bathrooms. The common areas on the first floor include the parlor, a dining room with a table that seats ten and has a wood stove, a small bathroom with a shower, an outdoor porch with seating, and the side yard that has a large lawn suitable for lawn games. The parlor has a pellet stove, several chairs, a desk, a twin bed, and a futon couch. If a member of your group can not climb stairs, the parlor can be used as a bedroom, and there is a bathroom with a shower down the hall. We provide linens, towels, and bath products. Ashfield has no cell towers. We have wifi and a landline for guest use. A continental breakfast is included. I can adjust the menu by request to accommodate specific dietary needs. The home is on the corner of Main St. and Norton Hill Rd. Both are paved roads. We have parking for 4 cars in our driveway, and there is additional parking on the side of the road. There are no taxi services located within Ashfield. We have our own quarters at the house. We keep a low profile, giving guests as much privacy as possible. We are accessible by phone or texting. Ashfield is a quintessential New England town with these essential amenities: A police station, a fire department, two churches, a post office, Country Pie-an awesome pizza shop, The Lake House (a pub with pub food!) on the edge of Ashfield Lake, Elmer's Market for breakfasts (right across the street from us) and Neighbors convenience store with snacks, sandwiches, victuals, locally grown produce and gas pumps. The famous Double Edge Theater is down the street. There are numerous fairs and festivals in the area throughout the summer and fall. There are two golf courses in Ashfield and a disk golf course in nearby Conway. The nearby village of Shelburne Falls has several fine restaurants, crafts galleries, and interesting sites like the Potholes and the Bridge of Flowers. Northampton, a western Massachusetts hot spot ( 17 miles away), has music venues, crafts galleries, and lots of fine dining establishments. Charlemonte, a 25 minute drive, is home to Berkshire East, a great family ski area, with a snow tubing park, zip lining offerings and an extensive trail system. Local rafting and inner tubing companies provide recreational offerings on the Deerfield River. The region boasts several local breweries and vineyards. Ashfield is a walkable town with most amenities within half a mile. You'll need a vehicle or be an avid cyclist to get to Ashfield, and home again:) We are providing enhanced cleaning and safety measures. In compliance with Massachusetts short term rental guidelines for the Covid-19 pandemic, the kitchen is not a shared space at this time. We are providing dishware and eating utensils in the dining room for guests to use for meals they bring in. We are washing the dishes afterwards. There is a small refrigerator, coffeemaker, tea kettle, and toaster oven for guest use. If you want to have a party or meal for a large group and need to heat things up or something else, discuss your needs with me. I want to make it work for you! The house is a great place for celebrations and special occasions.
