Situated in the heart of Wells is our bright and airy apartment with original 13th century features from the old Cathedral wall. Decorated in a contemporary style, our apartment is equipped with all the home comforts you will need for your stay. Step out of the front door and you'll find yourself in the centre of the city. Everything you need is within easy walking distance. A farmers market is held every Wednesday and Saturday selling the freshest locally sourced produce. The apartment is situated on the first floor with it's own private entrance accessed from the Market Place. The spacious lounge includes comfortable furniture with a smart TV and a selection of books. The dining table is perfectly positioned in the bay window overlooking the Market Place. The kitchen is well equipped with a induction hob, oven, microwave, kettle, toaster and dishwasher. Essentials are provided for your basic needs, such as: tea, coffee, sugar, bread, eggs, milk, butter, oil and condiments. The bathroom has a good sized shower, and is decorated in a light and airy style. Towels are provided for your convenience. The first bedroom has a king-size bed with a chest of drawers and hanging space. The second bedroom has two 3-foot beds. A folder with information about the local area will be in the apartment to help you find your way around Wells. Details of how to access the apartment will be provided after booking. We are just down the road and are on hand to help you with anything you need during your stay. Visit the City of Wells in Somerset with its historic centre, the magnificent cathedral, and the unique moated Bishop's Palace. Get your tastebuds tingling at our good independent restaurants. Close by, explore the beauty of the Mendip Hills & Somerset Levels, Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole Caves, Kilver Court Gardens and Glastonbury Abbey & Tor. Travel a little further afield to discover the Somerset Coast with the new pier at Weston-Super-Mare, Fleet Air Arm Museum at Ilchester and many National Trust & English Heritage properties. There is no overnight parking in the square on Tuesday and Friday as there is a market held there on Wednesday and Saturday. You may unload, then move your car to a private car park in South Street that charges £5 a day (the day ending at midnight). Please check the car park notice board just in case changes have occurred. You will see on the board that you can pay your fees by phone if you don't want to rise early to feed the meter.
