Glorious comfort for Goodwood.

A spacious airy room with a very comfortable super king size bed and ensuite shower in this cosy cottage overlooking the village Blacksmith and only a few paces away from our traditional local pub . Easy parking and very conveniently situated less than one mile from the renowned Goodwood motor events . This room is lovely and airy and characteristic of its period with sloping floors and wonderful oak doors. There is a very comfortable super king size bed and an ensuite shower room . Continental breakfast will also be provided in the kitchen at a time to suit you. My cottage is perfectly situated less than one mile from the motoring events at Goodwood. The racecourse is only 3 miles and can be accessed through the sweeping grounds of Goodwood House. The guests will have access to their bedroom as well as the kitchen for breakfast . If the weather is warm they are also welcome to sit in the garden. I will be around to help the guests with any information they require . I live in the village of Halnaker , a name derived from the Romans meaning ' Half-naked ' . Situated at the edge of Goodwood and on the South Downs only three miles north of Chichester. Jasmine Cottage is located conveniently just 100 metres from our local traditional pub The Anglesey Arms, which serves delicious home cooked food and has a lovely large garden . Within the village we have a windmill with its wonderful views over the coast line to the the Isle of Wight . We also have the award winning Tinwood Vineyard offering wine tasting on a daily basis. Whether you're after horse racing , motor events, lovely beaches, wonderful theatre, antique shops , beautiful countryside and a lot more besides , it's all available within 5 miles of Jasmine Cottage so why not come and explore ! There is a bus stop just outside the cottage with regular buses to Chichester and during the Goodwood Festival of Speed and Revival buses to the event. Our village shop is well stocked with all the usual provisions including newspapers .
