Peaceful cottage/bungalow on one level. Wonderful outdoor entertaining deck and spacious interior for larger groups. Extendable dining table that comfortably seats 8 along with outdoor setting also for 8. Heavy duty outdoor shade/umbrella. Only a few minutes drive to Wentworth Falls shops for fresh bread from Schwarz's bakery. Slow combustion fireplace and ducted heating for the winter months. The cosy integrated lounge and dining space is a wonderful place to relax in. Please note there is no air conditioning. The Blue mountains is generally very cool and the windows and bifold doors usually allow for sufficient breeze. There can however be days in summer when the weather is very hot. Please be aware of this before booking. Guest Access. The whole house is accessible to guests during their stay (save for one locked cupboard in the hallway). The spa on the deck has been drained and is NOT to be used under any circumstances. The garage is not accessible but there is parking for 3 cars on the driveway and 3 cars on the roadside. We had fitted the kitchen with a full length fridge initially. Based on feedback from guests we have now added a standalone freezer - one for the ice cream lovers. Available through AirBnB messages most of the time before 9pm Located on the outskirts of the Blue Mountains National Park, Birdsong is great for people who are looking to explore the outdoors. The stunning views from Lincoln's Rock are nearby with Rocket Point Lookout, and the Valley of the waters tracks a short walk away. Walking, driving, uber and cabs. There is no bus route on this street There is a wood burner fire which heats the lounge, dining and kitchen areas very efficiently. Please note that guests need to bring their own wood. The Shell service station in Lawson is a good place to pick up wood for about $15 a bag. Although there is a coffee machine visible in the kitchen photo, this has been removed as it was too difficult to maintain. There is instant coffee available but you will need to bring your own machine if you would like something more fancy. Please note that the pricing is set up such that there is an extra nightly charge for guests over 4 people. Please accurately put in the number of people in your group when booking.
