The Amazing Carpenters Workshop

A wonderfully converted stone barn, offering stunning, comfortable accommodation for two people, set over three floors. King size bed and en-suite walk-in shower with underfloor heating. Luxury modern kitchen with under floor heating. Large balcony with panoramic views of the valley. Our lounge has a large sofa, woodburning stove, Tv, Bluray player. Very peaceful and relaxing space. Free parking. The Barn stands alone overlooking the small village, and the Baca valley. Its a peaceful getaway. The Carpenters Workshop is Unique in the Soca valley!! We have a 1msq glass floor in the lounge! You can keep a eye on dinner... from the lounge :) Our top floor bedroom is a light and airy space with walk-in wet room shower and toilet. On the mid-floor we have our lounge with a large balcony over looking the valley down to the Baca river (Baca river is great for swimming!) Comfy sofa, Woodturning stove, Dinning table, Tv and entertainment. The kitchen is fully equipped for your cooking needs. The island has a breakfast bar, we have coffee machine, toaster, kettle etc etc You have all 3 floors of the barn, and the balcony. We have a key safe for convenience and ease...Our check-in is from any time after3pm and the key safe gives full convenience for your arrival. Please return the keys to the key safe on your check-out day. Thank you. Podmelec is a small and peaceful village set on the side of the Baca valley above the Baca river, on the edge of the Triglav National Park and only 15 to 20 minutes drive away from the Soca river and valley. Both the Baca & the Soca are excellent for fishing. Also available nearby are paragliding and rafting, with the immediate area offering numerous opportunities for walking and cycling, whilst ski areas are around an hours drive away. Podmelec has a fantastic church. The next village has a bar/coffee shop whilst the towns of Tolmin and Most na Soci are just 10 minutes drive away. These towns offer a full range of facilities such as supermarkets, bars, restaurants, banks, museum, library and a medical centre. The historic town of Kobarid is also nearby, where you can find an interesting museum and a range of excellent restaurants. Podmelece is small village :) Roads have lots of bends, you will need your own transport... Car or motorbike. The roads in Slovenia have lots of bends and in places narrow, Please take your time on your journey to and from the Carpenters Workshop.
