The premises is on the Trevithick Trail, a walk/cycle trail which goes north to Brecon (30 miles) through Merthyr Vale (5 miles), and south to Cardiff (20 miles) through Pontypridd (7 miles). ZipWorld Tower complex is 30 minutes by car. All windows and external doors are capable of being shuttered (electric or manual steel shutters). Although we would not recommend closing every shutter when anyone is inside the building to ensure easy emergency accesss, nevertheless it means the facility is extremely secure.
