ZoRos Nest - peaceful cottage getaway on acreage

This newly build cottage offers a peaceful place to stay when you are in need of short term accommodation. Whether you are relocating to Brisbane, are waiting for your forever home to be built, or just need an escape to a holiday rental, this is the perfect place for small families. We are located 30 min from Brisbane, 20 min from the airport, 20 min to Cleveland and 10 min to Sirromet Winery. We have a traditional woodfired sauna, a large firepit and lush greenery for you to enjoy. The kitchen is complete with a dishwasher, microwave/grill, fridge/freezer, induction stovetop and rangehood. Fully equipped for all your cooking needs. BBQ on the large patio with built in bar Enjoy a hot cuppa on the large patio while looking out over lush green forest and listening to the birds. The sun glimmers through the trees and melts away the stresses of your day. . There are 2 bathrooms, each with a unique décor. They boast large walk in showers, heat lamps, towels and toiletries. There are two cozy bedrooms, with silky bamboo linen, ceiling fans and double French doors for the modern feel. The 2.5 acre terraced property is also home to a family of 4, chickens and lots of wildlife. The landscaping surrounding the cottage is still being shaped with the potential of work occurring during the day. You will be notified and consulted prior to any major work being planned. It’s best you arrive in your own car as we are considered ‘in the country’ but are only 7 min drive from two large shopping centres. Parking for your cottage is located beside the pool. There is space for 2-3 cars but there is lots of space on the property should you need to bring a caravan or trailer with you. Main Entrance to the cottage is through the patio, through the large sliding doors. There is also access at the back of the house out of the bathroom doors to the pool and laundry area. We are a working family who are rarely home during the work week. One the weekends, we look forward setting up the sauna and bonfire and welcome guests to join us. Since we live on the property, we are always happy to help guest answer any questions or concerns. Sheldon is quiet rural neighbourhood. Lots of birds, wildlife and even horses have been seen to take long walks up and down our street. We are very close to a large shopping area and Uber does deliver to us. The closest plaza has a butcher, bakery, chemist, grocer, doctor, dentist, fish n chip and pizza shop… all within 3 min drive. Sirromet, our local Winnery, is well know for its 5star restaurant, wine, events and functions… only 10 min away. Also recently there has been an influx of mountain bike riders navigating through Mt Cotton national park! All very exciting. Best to come in your own car, even though we do have a bus that can take you from our doorway to Capalaba bus station. Uber is available. Pets are possible but please contact to see if your pet is suitable for the space. We do not have fences for adventerous dogs to remain safe.
