Spacious renovated Coach House

Welcome to The Coach House in Summer Hill. A heritage listed beautifully renovated, self contained 2 level studio with separate lounge, kitchenette and swimming pool. The property is only a 2 minute stroll from the lovely village of Summer Hill – filled with cafes, pubs, bars, restaurants, butcher and IGA supermarket. It is very well connected to public transport to CBD & airport, including Summer Hill train station (5 min walk), Lewisham West Light rail (10min walk) or Bus 413 (10 min walk). The Coach House was built in 1883 but was renovated in 2019. It is located at the rear of a family home with shared access to the garden and pool but with a private entrance and keyless entry you can come and go as you please. Upstairs has a large spacious bedroom with a Queen Bed and Double pull out sofa bed for 1-4 guests. Downstairs has a lounge, Smart TV with Netflix, Kitchenette with Fridge and bathroom with shower. Amenity limitations As the listing describes The Coach House is equipped with a kitchenette not kitchen just like a hotel suite for short stays. A fridge, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine, sandwich press and BBQ are provided to enable preparation of simple meals but the sink is in the bathroom and isn’t suitable for large scale washing up. There is no shortage of dining or takeaway options in Summer Hill village including Envy Café, The Drugstore Café, One Penny Red restaurant, Burgers on Broadway, Andiamo Trattoria, Thai, Vietnamese, Japanese and Indian restaurants or The Summer Hill Hotel. Summer Hill Village also boasts an IGA supermarket, a chemist, Doctor surgeries, Newsagent , Fruiterier and Butcher. No parking on property Street parking is available but time restrictions are signed and apply. Smith Street has a 2 hour parking limit on one side of the street and the other is unrestricted or you can park unrestricted on Carlton Cresent which is just across the park. The Coach House is located overlooking a park in the lovely suburb of Summer Hill. It is located 8 kms from Sydney CBD which is only 20 minutes away via Train, Light rail tram or Bus 413. It is also under 30mins to Sydney airport via Train, Taxi or Uber and moments stroll to Summer Hill village. Summer Hill village has a huge range of dining or takeaway food options including Envy Café, The Drugstore Café, One Penny Red restaurant, Burgers on Broadway, Andiamo Trattoria, Thai, Vietnamese, Japanese and Indian restaurants or The Summer Hill Hotel. There is also an IGA supermarket, a chemist, Doctor surgeries, Newsagent , Fruiterier and Butcher. The Coach House is very well connected to transport links. Summer Hill train station (5 mins walk) will take you to the Sydney CBD, the Opera House and Harbour Bridge or Airports in 20 mins. Lewisham West Light rail (10mins walk) will take you to the Sydney Fish Markets, Chinatown, Darling Harbour and Star City in 20 mins or Bus 413 (10 mins walk) to CBD in 30mins. As we are in a residential area we ask that you keep noise to a minimum between 10.00pm and 6.00am. No parties or large gatherings permitted. No more than 4 people (2 adults & 2 children) No furniture is to be moved. Strictly no commercial or amateur filming. Penalty of $1000 per day will apply. If you have interest as a location shoot please make a request for the owner to consider. Potential for noise Sydney’s Inner West is not directly under the flight path but you may occasionally hear some aircraft noise. We are located close to the park, after school care and trainline so you will hear some people and train noise. Our family home is also located on the property but is separate and we are not a noisy family. Guests have exclusive access to the lower lawn and garden, Coach House verandah and shared access to the swimming pool. If you damage The Coach House you may be charged up to $500.
