Along the road that leads from Cadore to Cortina, there is a majestic 19th century farmhouse completely renovated where the "The Family StoneHouse" apartment is located. The apartment located on the third floor is comfortable and tastefully furnished and welcomes you with a warm embrace in winter and a cool caress in summer. The original stone walls blend with the local wood paneling. The house is perfect for 4 adults and 4 children/boys maximum. Guests will have at their complete disposal a 100 square meters apartment with a small external balcony equipped with a clothesline. The house is equipped with every comfort: 55-inch TV, Xbox and DVD player. 42 inch TV also in one bedroom. It is equipped with a modern pellet fireplace that can be used by guests to create a real mountain atmosphere! The management of the pellets (purchase, transport and loading) is the responsibility of the guest On request, even after booking, at a cost of 10 euros per day, it is possible to use the washing machine. The house is perfect for 4 adults and 4 children. Maximum number of adults allowed: 6. The bunk beds in the bedrooms have a maximum capacity of 80 kg below and 50 kg above, and are therefore intended to accommodate children or at most teenagers up to 18 years. Vacuum cleaner and iron are at your disposal. On request there is a box in the garage for storing boots and skis. The apartment consists of an entrance to the property where you can easily unload your luggage. The accommodation on the third floor consists of a very large living area with lounge, living room and kitchen of over 40 square meters. The property includes 2 large bedrooms, bathroom and corridor. Access to the property takes place by entering a numeric code. Parking is free along via Roma or on via della Stazione, a few meters away. The stay includes the supply of sheets, duvets, blankets and towels. Breakfast is provided for the first morning. For any eventuality, the caretakers Franco and Mirella who live opposite the apartment are available. In the village there is a well-stocked minimarket, a tobacconist, bar, pizzeria, gourmet restaurant and post office within a radius of 200 meters. Returning to the valley, in Tai and Pieve di Cadore there are shopping centers for various needs: BRICO IO, A&O and others. 25 minutes from Cortina D’Ampezzo and 10 from San Vito di Cadore, this beautiful apartment surrounded by greenery and overlooking the Dolomites, is ideal for an unforgettable white week or a relaxing summer vacation. In spring, thanks to the presence of the cycle path, it is frequented by the most sporty holidaymakers. Coming from the south, not far from Venice, one of the first places to meet in the Boite Valley is Valle di Cadore, a town of about 2000 inhabitants which is part of the Belluno Dolomites. Valle stretches along a gentle grassy bank, at 851 m above sea level, on the slopes of Mount Antelao, and overlooks the majestic Duranno group. The town is a happy union between ancient and modern and offers interesting attractions both for sportsmen and for lovers of history and culture. Thanks to its central location, Valle is close to the ski areas of San Vito and Cortina and Auronzo-Misurina, which can be easily reached by public transport or by car, in about half an hour of travel. The Lunga Via delle Dolomiti crosses the town in the upper part and becomes a pleasant walk both in winter and in summer, as well as a popular destination for Italian and foreign cyclists. Along the way there is the multifunctional center with bar service, benches and tables, where you can refresh yourself in the sun. Valle is also equipped with a sports facilities area which includes a football and tennis field. Located on the SS51, with ample parking a few meters away, and the cycle path in front of the entrance. To the north are the renowned ski resorts of San Vito di Cadore and Cortina, continuing on to Dobbiaco and Sesto. To the south the famous Auronzo di Cadore and Misurina with its enchanted lake. A few kilometers before San Vito, in Borca di Cadore, is La Corte Spa, a wellness center with a thermal pool, open all year (except October). Renowned restaurants complete the tourist offer: the Red Maple and the Roe and Capriolino in Vodo, the Antelao in Borca, the Cadore pizzeria in Venas. San Vito di Cadore is the first ski resort and is just 10 minutes away by car. San Vito is ideal for families and children. In fact, it is equipped with a ski club for the little ones. Our children started skiing there when they were three. The ski school has an agreement with us. If you want to access the agreement, just let us know and we will give you the references with the ski instructor. Cortina offers dozens of km of slopes and is about 25 minutes by car.
