GREAT LOCATION 30minutes from the CBD, on a working horse property where riding lessons/ dressage/pony rides for children are available. You will be able to relax and unwind in a new 2 bedroom attached studio apartment among the gum trees and watch the sunset with a glass of local wine. You may even get a visit from the local wildlife (kangaroos and koalas). New studio apartment with fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher. Bathroom includes a washing machine. 2 bedrooms with, one with a queen size bed and the other containing a single bed and a trundle (most suitable for 1-2 children). Free wifi. Tea/coffee and basic kitchen necessities supplied (e.g. oil, salt, pepper, cling wrap). Help yourself to the eggs from our friendly chickens. There is a small fenced dog yard with kennel for small dog available on request. NO PETS ALLOWED INSIDE THE HOUSE. Horse riding lessons available on request for both adults and children on very well trained school horses. {rider weight limit 90kg}. Facilities available for you to bring your own horse and have dressage lessons with an FEI rider / EA Level 2 coach. Enquire when booking. Cartmel Rise Equestrian Centre. We live and work on the property and love having people to come and stay. We can provide you with good knowledge of the area over a glass of wine. We are 30 minutes from the Adelaide CBD. Historic Clarendon is a 5 minute drive away, as is the beautiful Onkaparinga River National Park/Gorge walk. Local beaches are 15 minutes away and the popular Glenelg beach/restaurant/shopping precinct is only a 20 minute drive away. McLaren Vale's wine region is close by, taking a short 15 minute drive. You can visit the famous German town of Hahndorf by taking a 30 minute scenic drive through the winding hills. You will need a car to get around. No public transport within walking distance.
