Our home is close to Stroud in the South Cotswolds which Lonely Planet recently named as one of Europe's best kept secrets. Only 15 minutes from the M5 which goes north to Cheltenham & Gloucester, or south to Bristol. Stroud is home to the award-winning Stroud Farmers’ Market and has a fantastic selection of independent shops, cafés and galleries. You’ll never be short of things to do! This listing is for the entire 4 bedroom home. Our home is a fabulous four bedroom, grade two listed, Georgian family home with high ceilings and spacious rooms. We've extensively renovated the entire house to suit our growing family. All four bedrooms are very large rooms almost the same size. Three bedrooms have double/king size beds in, one bedroom sleeps 5, it has two singles and a triple bunk bed. The main bathroom and en suite, both have excellent showers. The WiFi is excellent and able to support guests working from home with no issues. Guests will be able to make themselves at home. Our house is a five minute walk from Lavender Bakehouse & Coffee Shop. A Coffee shop with a difference serving a range of cakes & patisserie along with other items lovingly prepared on the premises. We are also just a few steps from the local canal with walks to the local organic Stroud brewery and historic Brimscombe Port. For the more adventurous you can walk the other way to The Dameway Pub. A Real ale and pub grub classics in venerable rustic inn with period fire places and lawn terrace. Local bus services are available to Stroud and Cirencester a couple of steps from the end of our driveway. Trains to London, Gloucester, Cheltenham etc availble at Stroud Train Station which is four miles from our house.
