The Dairy in Cockermouth

After a day out in the beautiful Lake District, welcome to your home from home. Our bright and airy two bedroom flat has everything you need to relax. Comfortable seating, WiFi enabled TV, large and comfortable beds, a luxury bathroom, complete with deep soaking bath and a fully equipped kitchen it’s your choice to stay in or venture out to the many pubs, restaurants within a 300m walk. A bright and airy flat situated on the site of an old industrial Dairy factory, some of the history of the building can be seen in the original beams. Cool in the summer but cozy in the winter the flat is always a comfortable place to stay. With two large bedrooms a bathroom and a separate kitchen it is the perfect space to relax and unwind. The bed in the second bedroom is configurable as a kingsize or as twin to suit your personal requirements Guests have access to the whole flat. I am not around most of the time during the week but often about at the weekend. If you need me I am on the end of a telephone for your assistance Cockermouth is a lovely little market town set on the very outskirts of the Lake District National Park. The Dairy is very close to the centre of Cockermouth. A very short walk takes you to Main Street where there are a variety of shops including a butchers, bakers, chemist and curios shops. The town itself has two excellent butchers, three supermarkets, a green grocer and fish shop just to highlight a few. In addition to this a variety of pubs and restaurants , riverside and country walks are all within a 5 minute walk. Cockermouth is on the local bus route and has regular buses passing through town and to other areas of the Lake District The heating is controlled via the nest thermostat which is on the wall at the top of the stairs. Just turn the dial to set it to whichever temperature suits you. There is no need to press the thermostat as this takes you into the settings which are pin protected. Both the bathroom and kitchen floors are heated underfoot to keep your toes nice and warm.
