The 700 years old Villa di Geggiano, surrounded by our working vineyard and lovingly maintained gardens, is located in Chianti in Tuscany. This is one of the most beautiful regions of Italy, with villages and medieval towns scattered in the unspoiled countryside providing an idilic and enchanting backdrop to your vacation. In one of the original garden pavilions, two luxury suites have been opened to guests. These conversions offer a quiet and private space to savour the Tuscan lifestyle. Although skilfully designed around its original features, complimenting the surrounding buildings, the rustic guesthouse contains a wealth of modern features. The guesthouse can comfortably accommodate four people in two suites. This property is an ideal retreat for travelers who want to spend some days far from the crowd in this exclusive location. The Pavilion has a total capacity of 4 persons but it has been designed to be easily divided into two independent suites. Each of the bedrooms have en suite bathrooms with bath tub and separate shower, there are two more bathrooms off the kitchen and living room. All of the bathrooms are modern and finely designed as the entire Pavilion, that has been completely refurbished by one of the Italian leading architects with the direct collaboration of the owner. Outdoors the well manicured garden and olive groves offer pleasant surroundings and al fresco dining in the Pavilion private garden. The private outdoor Jacuzzi (measuring 3x4 mt. heated in winter) built in an ancient stone basin and placed under the garden’s trees offers the perfect relief after a day exploring the countryside. Our guests are welcome to enjoy also the historical gardens of the main villa. We will be glad to meet you and, if you want, to share our "local knowledge" helping you in getting the most out of your holidays! If requested at booking we can help in organizing a wide choice of activities during your visit, including air tours, cycling, horse riding, and ballooning – after which you can enjoy a peaceful respite from your busy day site-seeing, or mulling it over with a glass of one of our organic wines, taking in the stunning views and enjoying our hospitality. The Villa di Geggiano covers a large 50 acre estate site amongst the gently rolling hills of Tuscany, where we can boast to some of the most beautiful landscapes in the Mediterranean and to possess an ancient and rich cultural history. This is your opportunity to visit our organic vineyards and wine cellars and taste the great Chianti Classico wines, to take a tour of the local walled towns, castles and parish churches between Florence and Siena, to be a spectator at the famous Palio horse race, to view the magnificent art and architecture and taste the delicious local and traditional dishes – a vacation to the Villa di Geggiano is a time to cherish and remember. The Villa di Geggiano is located at only 4 kilometers from Siena but, due to the few buses to town, we suggest you to rent a car. Taxis are also available and the ride to Siena costs around 15/20 Euro. The owner’s villa and its gardens are a National Heritage site and the organic vineyards produce 50,000 bottles a year of premium Chianti Classico and Tuscan IGT wines.
