Located only 10 minutes walk from McKinnon station - with a 20min train trip to the CBD - McKinnon village has several excellent restaurants and cafes. My home is a mid century 3 bedroom home. You will have your own private bedroom with en-suite bathroom. The room has a double bed, dressing table and a built in wardrobe. Your lounge/dining room can be closed off from the rest of the house. It has a couch, chairs and dining table, TV and Hi Fi. The additional bedroom has a queen sized bed and built in wardrobe. When you stay in this room you share the main bathroom. Guests have access to the north facing rear garden and deck which is a great place for a glass of wine after busy day. Tea and coffee are provided. Free WiFi. Guests can use the the modern well equipped kitchen by arrangement. They can use the toaster and kettle any time to make tea, coffee etc. I am retired and am often home during the day and am happy to share information about Melbourne and its surrounds and assist you when I can. I enjoy meeting people and sharing experiences but how much we interact will be determined by you. I live in a quiet street 10 minutes from McKinnon station and similar distance to Ormond station. Both places have excellent cafes, restaurants, and a range of shops for all your needs. Brighton Beach is only minutes away by car. McKinnon and Ormond stations are in zone 1 on the Frankston line. There are direct buses to Monash University. Several shopping centres, Chapel street, Chadstone and Southland Shopping centres are easily accessible by public transport or car. A Myki card is required for public transport - I have some available for you to use. Free parking is available on the street.
