Our spacious, well-appointed and affordable family home is a great choice for families, friends, work groups or budget conscious travellers (like us) and is conveniently available for either short or medium term rental. If you are relocating or building a home in the Nelson region, or perhaps looking at extended stay options for work, study or longer term holidaying, we would love to hear from you. Set over three levels in the suburb of Atawhai (a 5 minute drive north of the Nelson CBD), our 5 bedroom, 3 bathroom property with 3 separate living areas and sea views is large enough for up to 8 guests to relax in comfort while still offering privacy and personal space if preferred. We provide a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, microwave oven and basic pantry items, a laundry (washing machine only) linen, towels, and unlimited fibre Wifi. A wood fire and/or electric heater keep the main lounge cosy during the chilly nights, and electric heaters are supplied to warm the remaining living areas and bedrooms. Fans are supplied to keep you cool during the warmer months. The main lounge has a 49” UHD Smart TV with Freeview, YouTube, NETFLIX and Chromecast Ultra - just bring your laptop or smart phone and cast your favourites to the big screen! The downstairs lounge has a 40” HDMI compatible TV with Freeview and a DVD player. An assortment of movies are available and, for device-free time, a number of board games and a wide selection of books are there to be utilised so please make the most of them. The property has smoke alarms and heat detectors fitted, and a comprehensive first aid kit, including a fire blanket and fire extinguisher is provided. Our home is located down a private shared driveway (must be kept clear of vehicles) with a walking-pace speed limit. There is parking in front of our garage for 2-3 vehicles. This property is not suitable for smaller children due to the stairs, decks and retained landscaping as shown in our photos. Please note that THIS PROPERTY IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE. We may not necessarily be in Nelson during your stay but will be contactable by telephone, text or email and have family in the area that will be able to help you if needed. You will find full instructions for the Wifi, TV's, Chromecast, fireplace, dishwasher etc. on the coffee table in the main lounge. 1/ Waste bins are located in the carport - please recycle as much a possible. 2/ Smoking outside is fine - please use the ashtrays provided. 3/ The garage is not currently available for guest use but there is a lockable workshop for bike storage etc. 4/ Our home is of an older style and is slightly dated in places, however it offers great value for money, is unique in its size and layout and has magical views. 5/ Help yourself to our plums, lemons, mandarins, peaches, feijoas and passionfruit when in season. (try the grapes at your own risk!)
