Big Aframe Hut for 4 guests

We are a small hotel with lush gardens, a big outdoor restaurant with an small kitchen for you to use or you can order breakfast, lunch or dinner. There are 2 tables/siting areas in the garden, many birds and frogs etc Or you can sit on your private terrace. The room is a big Aframe hut and has 4 single beds and a bathroom that is shared with the other Afrme hut next to it. It has a ceiling fan. We have a relaxed and cozy atmosphere where you can spend your days relaxing in a hammock, go on one of our Tours or hike on your own. There are many trails inside and out side of the park, jungle and river hikes, swimming in natural river pools and waterfalls. Dos Brazos del Rio Tigre is small village with two little stores,a soda. It is the perfect place to come to if you want to be away from main stream tourist places and enjoy nature at its best. How to get here. Puerto Jimenez is a 9 hrs bus ride or a 50 minute plane ride form San Jose. We now have a little van going to Puerto Jimenez on Mon, Tue, Thurs, Fri, Sat , leaving Dos Brazos at 9am, and leaving Puerto Jimenez at 3 pm. It will drop you off in front of the school in Dos Brazos. From there, a right, it is a 5 min walk to Los Mineros or you can ask the driver to take you Los Mineros, 1500 colones one way. A taxi from Puerto Jimenez to Dos Brazos is around $30. If you drive from Puerto Jimenez it takes 25 minutes, turn the first on your right after the Tigre bridge then in Gallardo turn right after the football field to Dos Brazos (8 km) or EL Tigre. From Chacarita to Dos Brazos it takes around 2 hrs. We are located in Dos Brazos del Rio Tigre, 13 km from Puerto Jimenez. You can drive all the way up here and we have a parking lot. When you come from Palmar Norte you have to turn right in Chacarita ( Inter Americana ) drive trough Rincon, La Palma....after Sandalo, you have to turn right in Niecke ( there is a TIGRE, Corcovado National Park sign just before) In the next village, Gallardo (4km), turn left the second street after the football field, all the way to Dos Brazos (8km). Arriving in Dos Brazos, cross the big bridge and turn right in front of the school, it is about 1 1 km to Los Mineros who will be on your left. If you follow a GPS ,put in the coordinates of the church in Dos Brazos de Rio Tigre. Once you get to Dos Brazos turn right at the school, though it is better to follow Waze, it will get you here in no time...
