Cosy and Spacious Barn Conversion

The renovated barn house is set in a beautiful rural village, with shops and restaurants within walking distance. Ideally located for those who enjoy country walks and cycling. With the Devonshire coastline on your doorstep, you are spoilt for choice with beaches. Water-based activities such as surfing, sailing, kayaking, rowing etc are very popular in this location. You can have the best of both worlds with very easy access to Plymouth City Centre and the Barbican (15 minute drive or taxi ride) Make yourselves at home in this comfortable space. Mill Barn offers a beautiful open plan living room with a TV, and fully fitted kitchen to the mezzanine floor, where there is a single bed and an optional pull out bed. Mill barn also has a WC off the living room. On the lower ground floor there is a double room with an en-suite, a separate bathroom featuring a roll top bath, and a cosy twin bedroom. Bedrooms are spacious, with comfortable beds and quality bed linen. The En Suite shower room is provided with fresh towels, and Bathroom with bubble bath so that you can enjoy a relaxing bath! The kitchen has all the necessary amenities, and feel free to use the Washer/Dryer during your stay. Mill Barn features Oak flooring and has a gas wood-burning effect stove. The house has it's own private entrance and garden with table and chairs. Off road parking for 3 vehicles. I respond quickly via text or Airbnb to all expected guests. Somebody will be there to greet you with your key and to answer any questions upon arrival. Brixton is a lovely friendly village in South Devon that has very easy access to Plymouth. A short ride off the motorway so it is really easy to find. Brixton Fish & Chip shop is fantastic, as is the Fox & Hound Pub. You can walk to Yealmpton which is another beautiful village with an award-winning pub (Rose & Crown). I would recommend also visiting Newton Ferrers and Noss Mayo, which are both within a 10 minute drive, lovely seaside villages on the River Yealm, accessible national trust cliff/coastal walks, and reward yourselves with a local pint/bite to eat at The Ship Inn, Noss Mayo! The beautiful beach of Mothercome is 10 minutes by car . Perfect for bathing surfing or paddle boarding . There is a very nice trendy caffe, The School House . Highly recommend use of a car (secure parking on site). Mainline train station at Plymouth (15 minutes by car). Quiet lanes for good cycling and running. Local taxis in Plymouth. Please help yourselves to anything in the house, let me know in advance if there will be 6 of you and we will make sure that the 6th bed is made up for additional £20 per night. There will be a basic breakfast for the first 3 nights provided in the house.
