Angel Cottage , Wentworth Falls ~ a place to relax

The studio is a self contained unit, separate from my house upstairs, so guests can enjoy their privacy. A 10 minute walk to cafes and Silks Restaurant( recently relocated from Leura ) is only a 5 minute walk away . I am really proud of my Superhost status & try to ensure that my guests have a lovely stay, with a few complimentary treats to help you settle in. Cleaning is done to a high standard in accordance with NSW Health guidelines to ensure that you are staying in a safe space. The studio is really intended as a couples retreat .. it is about the size of a hotel room , with a bathroom and outdoor court yard . If you intend to book 3 guests please be aware that this reduces the floor space considerably, as I have to set up a single bed . It is therefore not suitable for families due to the size of the studio . Late checkouts are possible by consultation with Rosie .. I try to accommodate your needs where possible . The back yard and terrace area is for your private use . When we have guests staying , we do not use these areas so please enjoy this lovely space. Please note : As we move into the colder weather, be very careful when walking on all paths on the property...rain, ice and snow make these areas slippery. We have installed anti slip strips in sloping areas but please take care when accessing the property. Thank you.. I am around if guests need anything, otherwise I believe that the studio is their space to enjoy. They have my mobile number if they need assistance 24/7. Please ensure that all front gates are properly closed behind you when you leave Angel Cottage...Ollie and Bart, the border collies will follow you to your car and (beyond) if the gates are left open ...I would hate to lose them or have them hit by a car, so please check the gates. Thank you. It's very beautiful .. lots of trees , bird life , quiet , the lake is a short walk .. well worth the visit for a swim or just to sit and take it all in .. the village is just the right mix of cafes ,antique shops and the most incredible German bakery that u could ever want for breakfast or a wander before lunch .. it's not as big as Leura or Katoomba ,so not as crowded , but very chilled. We recommend FED deli for great coffee and wonderful food made by Stuart and Craig. If you are looking for delicious curries, quiches, salads etc to bring back to the studio for a meal then check out what the guys are cooking ...highly recommended . The train station is a ten minute walk . The bus to the station and Katoomba is close by .. I have the time table. I am happy to meet you at the train if I am around ...just message me to see if I can meet you before you leave Central. Parking is available on Angel Street . Please do not park across my neighbours driveway...I do not want to upset my local residents. Please park well off the road so cars can get past safely as it is a narrow street .. but with great views down the valley ! For your comfort we have installed a split system Fujitsu unit and the beds have electric blankets . I provide fresh milk, bread, butter, jams, organic teas, good coffee, some fresh fruit and fresh lemons from my tree for tea or water to enjoy as compliments of Angel Cottage.I want my guests to feel at home as soon as they arrive. A café grill is also available in the galley kitchen if you want to bring some cheese/ or fillings for that late night snack. Please note: We have recently installed FREE TO AIR TV & NETFLIX in the studio. All extra items in the studio are provided for your convenience during your stay - sewing kit, clothes brush, razors, first aid kit, strapping & i phone 6 charger but please do not remove them from the studio.( I hate having to write this ) I provide body wash, hand wash ,body lotion, shampoo and conditioner for your use while staying with us.
