Bright upstairs apartment, close to beach.
The detached corner property enjoys the benefit of being situated close to the town's amenities, shops, Tallylln Steam Railway & walking distance of the beach (15 min). The upstairs apartment can sleep 2 adults, with the option of a travel cot/single bed. It consists of 1 bedroom, 1 living room/diner and a shower room. The rooms are flooded with light and accessed via its own private entrance with outside space. The apartment is above our family home and our cat enjoys popping up to say hi. The apartment has a bright and airy room with a beach shabby chic feel to it. The space consists of a bed room and a separate sitting room/kitchenette and a shower room. The bedroom has a double bed, sink and drawers with the option of a zed bed or travel cot. In a separate room it has its own mini kitchen with fridge, induction 2 ring hob, toaster and kettle. The room also enjoys a dining table and sofa area with TV. It's small but perfectly equipped for a get away. It has exposed wooden floor boards in the dining area and carpet in the bedroom. It has been freshly decorated and is a lovely living space. The apartment is accessed through it's own private porch and is straight up the stairs. Our cat Tiggy will have access to the apartment as the front door contains the cat flap. She can be kept out of all rooms by keeping the doors shut, but will still have access to the hallway and landing. Outside, you can enjoy the front garden with seating area on the grassed front lawn. If there's something in particular you want to check we have, please just ask. We can make a bbq available for you. The previous listing (and the feedback) was for the entire house from last year before we moved in downstairs. Guests will have access to the front garden, private porch, and the entire of the upstairs (1 bedroom, 1 living area with kitchenette and shower room) . Parking is available on the street and is free. A key will be available for collection via a key safe, the hosts can be called, emailed or texted at any point. But if we're in just pop in and say hello, we're always keen to meet our guests but it's up to you. The house is situated on a residential road, and just off the A493. The local attractions include: the BEACH! (a beautiful 4 mile stretch of glorious sand towards Aberdyfi. The Talyllyn Railway, Guided fishing tours (just ask us for the best chap in town!), the Center for Alternative Technology, amazing mountain walks to Cadair Idris and along the Wales Coastal Path, among many many more attractions that this area has to offer. The town boasts a pop up fish monger, a butcher and a few fantastic bars (notably the Salt Marsh Kitchen/Cafe Bar and separate restaurant) and restaurants along with a Coop supermarket about 500m from the house. The local beach is a 15 minute walk. Tywyn sits on the Cambrian train line and the station is a 8 minute walk from the house, also the bus stops 50m from the property with good access from Machynlleth. Just ask us more if you need any tips on travel. The apartment is above our family home. We have a 3.5 year old toddler and a 6 month old who does the normal squawking from 7am. If you're seeking absolute silence this might not be the place for you. I would prefer to be honest rather than have disappointed guests. The house is also home to a cat (Tiggy Cowmouse) who has access to the apartment, we hope you'll love her company as much as she'll seek yours! Note that previous feedback was when we were renting out the entire house.
