The neighbourhood is a quaint little town that accommodates a convenience shop, a petrol station, post office, fish and chip shop and Chinese Take-Away. There is lovely Pub/Restaurant called the Gaerwen Arms that has been newly refurbished. We love it in there and would highly recommend visiting for an evening meal! There is also a fantastic bakery over on the industrial estate. (They make the best breakfast baps to take away on the island!). The Holland Arms Garden Centre is just around the corner. They have a lovely little cafe and are home to some beautiful gifts suitable for all the family. There is a bus stop just at the end of the road. Buses that can take you pretty much anywhere on the island, also Bangor. 6 minutes from Britannia Bridge, sandwiched between the A5 and the A55, it's a handy place to access the island, Snowdonia and North Wales.
