Domaine Chateau de Digoine is a centuries old 13 ha estate with a Medieval abandoned castle, a lake, woodlands, historical buildings, a holiday home and a small scale B and B. For wine enthusiasts, cyclists, people who love to make long walks, golf players and people who are looking for peace and quiet and enjoy the Burgundy life style. Close vicinity of the vineyards, the lovely cities of Beaune, Pommard, Meursault, Autun and Dijon. The estate of 13 hectares in Burgundy is located near the vineyards and the historic towns of Autun, Beaune and Dijon. The medieval castle is uninhabited, the oldest part dates back to 1233. The property is the courtyard with 2 houses (1810), the dovecote. Hidden in the woods is the Orangery and the abandoned mill. We have two Percheron horses who are in the meadow in front of the castle. The Hunting House, holidayhome is the former home of the gamekeeper. We maintained the original details combined with luxury and converted it into a lovely living house of 140 m for 3 to 4 people. On one side of the kitchen is a spacious shaded terrace. On the other side, a large wooden deck where a spacious hot tub - the Source Dubois - stands with a diameter of 185 cm. The Source Dubois is heated by a wood-burning stove in the water. Just filling and heating the hot tub is a lot of fun . The villa guests have access to the property ( 13 hectares) of the estate with the chess game in front of the castle. Carp and pike fishing in our lake Due to the secluded location there is a lot of privacy , even though the house is on a large estate . We live in one of the houses near the castle .
