Authentic boat house

Boathouse in Lamba "Úti á Kinn" It is raw - it is peaceful - it is storming - you will see all kinds of birds - if lucky seals and harbor pourpies. Live as they did in the past, making food on the fire or you can live "modern" in very authentic surroundings. We DO NOT provide WiFi and TV. This is a place where you reconnect with the nature! If you want luxury is not for you! Is perfect stay if you like nature! Hear the waves at night! Please read all before you book this place The boat house is a one of its kind. The very old preserve construction/design and the stonemasonry are visible in the basement. Most of the materials used in the restoration are natural wood and almost everything from the main construction of the boat house is preserve. All of the main design is preserved. The house has low ceiling, if you are over 6’ you may have to do a little ducking here and there On the main floor is a couch bed (200cmx140cm) , a pull-out table, 4 chairs, 2 armchairs in front of the big window with an outstanding view .We provide coffee maker,electric water kettle, dishes, sauce pan, electric oven, and yes , wine opener. We have a fire burner, so your job is to keep it warm . We provide the wood. You can cook on the fire burner , the guest really like that. 1 room in basement 2 beds each (200cmx130cm) The basement room is a low place only made for beds. The heat comes from an electric radiator. I'm told, from two of our guests, to put up a little warning for paralysed and older people can have problems getting do through the trapdoor in the floor down to the beds, there is noproblem for them to sleep upstairs in the duble sleeping couch. We provide towels, soap, shampoo, , bed lines, coffee. You can drink water from the sink in Faroe Island. We do have cold and hot water. Fishing is what the Faroese people do best, whether by boat or from the shore. You too can enjoy a spot of angling in the peace and quiet of the lakeside, surrounded by steep mountains. We provide you with 2 rods, so you can go fishing as well. And in the summer time the nights are perfect for fishing, as is not getting dark. There is a mobile phone , which you can use it for reaching us. Please ask for more informations It is also possible to sit out side under a awning below the boathouse where it is possible to use a barbecue grill running on gas. It is mostly up to the guests how much interactions there will be, we are not located in the area but are in touch 24/7 Alina's home is located in Lamba, Eysturoy, Faroe Islands. Lamba is a quiet, small,peaceful village, very little traffic . Nobody lives around the boat house. All you will hear is the ocean, sometimes wind, birds( in the summer) There is a busstop 1,4 km away with connection alaround the Faroe Islands. Car can be parked next to the boat house The main city Saltangará/Runavík do have some good restaurants. The hot tube can be hired DKK 600,00 per day
