Rossbeigh Beach Cottage

The house, which overlooks Rossbeigh Beach, is the ideal place for families, couples and solo adventurers. Relax, enjoy the beautiful Rossbeigh with 5 miles of strand (5 min walk), horse riding, surfing, paragliding, tennis court & playground and the lovely village of Glenbeigh (1 mile - shops and excellent pubs/restaurants). This house is located on The Wild Atlantic Way and backs onto The Kerry Way walking route. Killarney National Park @ 40 min; Kerry Airport @ 45 min; Cork Airport @ 2 hrs. You will love the cosiness of this completely renovated house including a brand new kitchen, ( new photos to update the site coming soon) and the proximity to the beach. The sea views are breathtaking from both downstairs and upstairs for a truly relaxing break. Walkers and runners can enjoy the Kerry Way which goes right behind the house or the long strand at Rossbeigh. Killarney town and National Park, Caragh Lake, Valentia and trips to the Skelligs are a short drive away. Or why not unwind in the living room where there's a warm stove for a rainy day, a few books for all ages, a tv with dvd player also, we only live 20 mn away so while you can enjoy the whole house for yourself, we can always contact us! The whole house is yours for your reservation. There is an enclosed garden and plenty of space for cars in front of the house. You will find brochures and business cards on the table at your arrival with information about Killarney National Park, Dingle and the whole county of Kerry. I am adding Kells gardens, 20 minutes from the house, as adults and children will love the walks (especially the dinosaur walk). Glenbeigh, the village above Rossbeigh has every thing you will need for a lovely stay, from shops ( petrol station too) to hairdressers and lovely pubs with gorgeous food. The house is only 5 minutes walk from the big Rossbeigh beach. It is a semi detached house and the owners of the house are a lovely family who come there to relax some week-ends. In front of the house, nothing but sea views as the cottage is on an elevated site. you can walk to the shops ( 15 minutes). There are two very good pubs in Glenbeigh, The Twers and the Olde Glenbeigh Hotel, equally good, and a cafe ( Rumours) serving crepes, pizza and lovely dishes. The pub Ross Inn ( on the beach) re-opened at Easter time so you can just walk there from the house! There is a lot of space to park in front of the house. you will also find a bus from Glenbeigh going to Killorglin, Tralee and Killarney. Bikes can be rented in Killarney to visit the National Park. We have replaced the double beds upstairs and downstairs as well as 2 single mattresses so your stay will be even more comfortable. the whole kitchen has just been renovated with a new bigger fridge, oven etc... the whole house has been renovated since last September to welcome you even better.
