The fajara beach is less than 10 minute walk from the residence. The main thoroughfare's are the Newtown Road and Kairaba Avenue and they both have excellent taxi links. Main attractions are the African Living Art Center in Bakau, the crocodile pool, Fajara craft market, Fajara club and golf course.
