Located on the Seychelles beach of Anse Forbans on the South East Coast of the mainland of the Seychelles -Mahe Island we offer you the ideal Seychelles Self Catering Beach Holiday Getaway. We are 5km from Anse Royale (second largest town found on Mahe), 14km from the Seychelles International airport, 24km from the Capital of Victoria and 25km from the Inter Island Jetty for transfers to Praslin and La Digue on the Fast Ferry Cat Coco. All chalets enjoy sea views of the bay of Anse Forbans and the single/one bedroom chalets are just 25 metres away from the beach of Anse Forbans. Chalets Anse Forbans beach is renowned for its nesting hawksbill turtles during the months of October to February and is a great snorkeling beach. All our Bungalows/Holiday Cottages sit off the main road and are located in a landscaped tropical garden of 900 sqm. Enjoy exploring our gardens with our many endemic and exotic tropical flowers and plants. While exploring come and say hello to our giant Aldarabra tortoises. We welcome children to our property. A dinning room with table and chairs for 4 people Lounge with chairs and table to accommodate four people with overhead fan. Bedroom with either king or single beds fully air conditioned and side pedestals, room safe, ironing board and iron, cupboard built in, dressing table and hairdryer. Bathroom with shower, basin, shaving plug, WC … The chalet also offers you- Your own patio/veranda with table and chairs for 4 people as well as 2 sun loungers and a sun table. The Village of Anse Forbans and its surroundings: • Anse Forbans is on the bus route with access to Anse Royale and Victoria every 45 minutes but running on Seychelles time! •We are fully self catering but there is a small shop within walking distance for small provisions. Desaubin shop is 500 meters up the road. You can get drinks, water and other provisions a bit limited as this is a small village shop. Our bigger supermarkets are located in Quatre Borne- Sekaar (1.2km) and in Anse Royale (5km). Anse Royale you will find Vegetable shops and fruit stalls as well. Both on bus routes. Car journey approximate 5 – 10 minutes. •Best beaches in the Seychelles- we are very lucky to have Anse Interdance, Petite Anse, Anse Marie Louise ,Takamaka beach and Anse Soleil all with 20 minutes from us. Anse Interdance is 10 minutes and voted in the top 10 beaches in the world. A must see!!! •Activities and sports- The Seychelles Golf Course is 15 minutes by car from us, the Seychelles can also offer you Zip Lining and rock climbing in the Port Launay area, Fishing , Diving, snorkeling ( Anse Forbans beach), hiking and guided walks , island hopping, paddle surfing, surfing – we can assist with best beaches to visit for the various activities, •Restaurants – The Double Tree Hilton Hotel is 500 meters from us and offers cocktail bars and restaurants. Surfers Restaurants is 1 kilometers from us and offers you a wide menu including local fish and chips to pizza all on the beach- they will deliver to the chalets or transfer you if you want and bring you back. Le Reduit ( car needed) offer you the true Creole experience with delicious fish dishes (we recommend this restaurant highly they do offer transfers for evening meals only), Jardin du Roi also offers a light snack menu and are open from 10am to 5pm, Chez Baptista located in Takamaka on the beach is 10 minutes by car offers Sunday Buffets. •Banks and money changers. There is an ATM machine that is located in Quarte Bornes that is 1.2km away. There is a further 2 ATM machines in Anse Royale, 5km. There a Mauritius Commercial Bank branch that is 5km away. A money changer is located in Anse Royale. •Curio Shops- For all your souvenirs there is a curio shop located 2.5km away and a number of others in Anse Royale 5km away •Hospital and clinic. The local clinic is in Quatre Bornes that is 1.2km and the Anse Royale Hospital is located 5km away. There is a very well stocked pharmacy located in Anse Royale 5km away. •Vegetable and Fruits, can be found in various locations on the side of the road. But there are two farmers markets found in Anse Royale that is 5km away. •Spa- Banyan Tree spa and the Double Tree Hilton Spa are not even 10 minutes away. Hilton spa is 500 meters – walking distance 5 minutes. Banyan tree is 2.5km away so it is best to have a car or call a taxi. •Takamaka Bay Distillery is about 7km away and offers tours around the distillery as well as meals in their restaurant. Pre-booking is advisable. Public transport: a bus stop is less than 350 meters from the entrance of the chalets. Car hire is recommended. We do also arrange private tours by car of the island and can arrange your transfer to and from the Seychelles International or Domestic airport. We are built on family land that stretches back in our family history for over 6 generations. It was a former coconut plantation and you can still see this today. Our Family tourism business has been running for 25 years and we enjoy a large repeat guest clientele. We love Anse Forbans as it is out of the hassle and bustle of other tourist areas.
