Situated within a short walk of Gwithian Beach and its year round surf, this beach chalet has a wonderful framed window view of Godrevy Lighthouse and direct access to the grass-covered sand dunes behind Gwithian village. Pensilva is in a peaceful, secluded area yet just a short walk from great food, drink and entertainment. Available for year round bookings. Ideally suited for families of up to four, or couples with pets seeking a relaxing base only moments away from the beach. Pensilva has 2 bedrooms ( 1 double, 1 twin) with built in cabin style beds. The open plan lounge/diner has 2 comfortable sofas with TV, WIFI and DVD . The dining table comfortably seats 4 people. The galley style kitchen is small but has everything you need including cooker, fridge, microwave, kettle and all the usual necessities for self catering. Outside there is a seperate little' house' for the washing machine and and an enclosed garden with a table and chairs for al fresco dining. The three mile long sandy beach is lifeguard patrolled from Easter to the end of October with Gwithian Academy of Surfing offering surf lessons and surf hire only a short walk away. Guests can arrive any time after 2pm and you can make yourselves at home on arrival with a key code to let yourselves in. I live locally so if there are any problems or you would like any assistance I can be with you within 20 minutes minutes. Gwithian Towans is a unique area of natural beauty with three and a half miles of sandy beaches, ideal for family holidays, coastal walking and surfing. Pensilva has direct access to the rolling sand dunes. The chalet has a completely fenced garden , perfect for barbeques and secure for four-legged friends. The Rockpool, Godrevy Cafe and Sunset surf cafe are all within a 10 min walk and offer great food with fantastic sea views.
