Le Mas St Disdier en Devoluy

A small well equipped Gite set over three floors which includes a main bedroom with a modern en suite shower room. The Gite is attached to the main house, high in the mountains of the Southern Alps. The ski stations Superdevoluy and La Joue du Loup are nearby aprox 20mins by car Very remote spot perfect for a mountain get away. If mountain trekking, ski de randonnee, snow shoeing. biking, climbing is your passion this is the place to be. The Gite is perfect for two people but also has another bedroom with a single bed on the top floor, this is accessed via a steep ladder in the main bedroom (See Photo) There is also a pull out sofa bed on the ground floor,please however be aware the bathroom is separate but it is en suite to the main bedroom. Wifi connection is good in the main house (guests welcome to come in and use it) The reception in the Gite is poor but internet is available via an Ethernet lead if you bring a Lap Top Computer with a port Le Mas is an enormous old Farmhouse in a tiny hamlet and access is via a steep mountain road (Chains for cars needed in the winter) The snow plough clearance is excellent but any difficulties, we have a 4x4 Jeep and would collect you in the village (St Disdier en Devoluy) It is dog heaven should you wish to bring yours. Plenty of wonderful walks through the woods and mountain treks. We have our own small quiet gentle dog who interacts well with other dogs. Guests are welcome to use the garden and also an old barn next to the Gite is ideal to store skis etc We are around in the main house. (The gite is entirely separate ) We want you to enjoy your stay so please ask if there is anyway we can help.
