This unique space radiates luxury in Mumbai’s renowned national park reserve that preserves much of the city’s flora & fauna. Its a 3-storey bungalow in which 2 floors are available to guests. Surrounded by nature yet accessible to the city, (a minute away from the western express highway/public transport), it is the perfect place for a comfortable, relaxing stay close to Mumbai's action. The apartment offers spacious living with private bathrooms, hot water, queen-sized beds & air conditioning. There are multiple aspects of this bungalow that makes it the perfect weekend getaway yet accessible to Mumbai's city life. This bungalow is situated right behind Sanjay Gandhi National Park reserve which makes it a rare find as it in the middle of a lot of greenery that makes the air around it pollution-free, cold at night and calming amongst the noise and traffic of Mumbai. However, it is not isolated from the city's offerings as its 2-minute drive to the Western Express Highway that connects all of Mumbai's stations within a few minutes. It is situated on top of a steep yet easily accessible hill which puts our bungalow high rise on an elevation that offers a magnificent view of the greenery and city landscape (as shown in the pictures). It is perfect to enjoy the sunsets and sunrises from our terrace that is also accessible to our guests. Depending on the season our house is always blessed with amazing mango, jackfruit, jamun (Indian black plum) trees that you are open to enjoy! Guests have full access to the terrace from which they can enjoy the fresh air / do yoga on the complimentary yoga mats. Of the two floors available, guests will have access to just the 3rd floor in this listing which consists of 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms (all attached). Guests will be able to have access to a full conference room for business meetings on the first-floor office space (upon request). Guests will receive their privacy on the floors they book private rooms / entire lofts. As aforementioned, this bungalow is situated behind Mumbai's biggest national park reserve and is surrounded in greenery. However, it is not isolated and is accessible to the Western Express Highway. To be specific, the bungalow is situated in Abhinav Nagar, Borivali East which will help you understand how easily accessible the highway is, which means you can commute in and around Mumbai within minutes*. In and around Borivali East, one can take advantage of Thakur Village that houses the areas entertainment. Thakur village houses areas cinemas, resturants like McDonalds, Urban Tadka, Pizza Hut etc. For basic groceries, Shantivan street provides access to fruit and vegetable vendors, local farsan (sweets and dairy shops), barbershops, clothing shops etc. Kulupwadi Road, which sits only 3 mins away from the beginning junction of this market street also has similar amenities including mandirs. Our neighborhood is also known to be the best spot for your nature excavations! If you're the outdoor types, in addition to the green neighborhood we also Sanjay Gandhi National Park that has many trekking, boating and sporting activities. Some paid and free activities include Animal Safaris, Trekking to the parks highest point to see the Yoga temple and some of Mumbai's most historic sites i.e. Kanheri and Buddhist Caves. For more recommendations, feel free to reach out. *It would take 30-40 minutes tops to get to Bandra and an extra 10-15 minutes to get to South Bombay via the Bandra-Worli Sealink (off-peak hours where traffic is minimal). Peak hours include 8am - 10am and 5pm to 9pm. Anything before and after these time intervals would make traveling by a smooth commute. There are multiple ways of getting around i.e. autorickshaws (local taxis of Mumbai), Ola (ride hailing app in India like Uber), Uber, Train etc. We strongly recommend using Ubers and Olas that arrive on the site instantly when called. They are the most reliable mode of transport as this location doesn't have any access to moving traffic with public autorickshaws / buses. Therefore Ubers and Olas with cheap and comparable fares, are the most reliable forms of transportation.
