Welcome to Carcoola Cottage. How many places in the world can you be 12km from a large city centre and still be on almost 4 acres? You can feel like you're at home in a private standalone 3 bedroom house with a fully equipped kitchen, Netflix, fast wifi, Aircon, large deck with BBQ and access to the pool. Having been AirBnB hosts for many years, we understand and respect your need for privacy but if required we can provide you with help regarding information about the local area. This three bedroom cottage has one master bedroom with a queen bed, plus two more bedrooms with 3 single beds. The master bedroom and bedroom 2 have built-in wardrobes and bedroom 3 has a standalone wardrobe. The newly renovated house accommodates up to 5 people but additional mattresses can be available if requested. The open-plan living space, dining area, and modern kitchen will provide all the space you need for you and your family. The kitchen comes fully equipped. Appliances include a gas cooktop, electric oven, dishwasher, microwave, and large fridge/freezer with cold water dispenser. The living room has a Netflix-connected TV and fast wifi is available. The house has a bathroom with twin sinks and a spa bath. An additional 2 rooms give a seperate shower room and toilet. There is a washing machine also connected, under the house. Outside, you can enjoy the beautiful Queensland weather with a gas BBQ on the deck. A salt-water chlorinated pool and fully fenced lands, that give ample space for children to run around in, are shared with our family. We reside in a separate house 20+ meters from the cottage. There is parking available onsite, with one carport available and car parking space for a second car. We are usually available or contactable during the day for any questions. You will be close to the Brookfield Store and Showgrounds where you can enjoy the rural atmosphere while having a coffee or sit down for lunch / dinner. You can go hiking or mountain biking along the many dedicated trails in Mount Cootha (6 min away by car) or visit the close by Brisbane tourist attractions like the Mount Cootha Lookout, Mount Cootha Botanical Gardens or the Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary (11 minutes). The Bundaleer gardens wedding venue is located only 6 minutes away. Shopping facilities at Kenmore village or Indooroopilly Shopping Centre are quickly reached along Moggill Road. The Centenary Highway is a 5-minute drive away and access to the airport, 25-minute drive, with the new tunnels. There is a dedicated undercover car-port for your car and access to a further car parking space if required. Public transport is available with the 435 bus (two-minute walk) and the 444 bus (10-minute walk) for access to Indooroopilly or Brisbane city. Wifi speeds are currently 50Mb/s in the accommodation.
