The Purbeck Annexe (BH154JA) For family occasions, weekend escapes for couples, or longer term stays for contractors,The Purbeck Annexe in Poole is perfect. It’s just 1 mile from the waterfront and 1 mile from Upton Country Park. The property is purpose built over one level and is ideal for 2 adults but can sleep up to 4 guests (young family ). Highlights include; private rear access via Hercules Road, a south facing outdoor patio area, Smart TV, Wifi, free parking space exclusively for guests. The Open Plan – Lounge & Kitchenette This is a compact, yet cosy room in which you can watch a movie or enjoy quiet relaxation. It’s a 'make yourself at home' space with a comfy sofa to sit back on that also doubles as the Sofa Bed (if 4 people are booked in). Pick-up the remote and flick through the channels on the smart, flat screen TV which includes access to Amazon Prime and Music. The Kitchenette Modern countertops, cabinets and electrical appliances combine to make this a compact space to prepare snacks and meals. There are 2 induction hobs, a combination oven / grill, slow cooker, toaster, under counter fridge freezer and storage space for your favourite foods. If you require access to a washing machine or tumble dryer this can be accessed via the Utility Room by prior arrangement with the hosts, so for guests booking longer term stays, taking care of the laundry is easy. The Sleeping Space(s) The bedroom is modern, warm and stylish with natural light pouring in. It has access to the patio area via large patio doors and is the private entrance into the building. There is a wardrobe & 2 bedside cabinets. There is a sofa bed in the living room that is easy to operate and is very comfortable. The Bathroom The bathroom features a shower and a toilet. There is no sink fitted. Outside space It’s always such a bonus to get private outside space wherever you stay, and that’s what you get here. Use the outdoor dining facilities to enjoy al fresco meals or just generally relax. There are also free parking spaces for the exclusive use of guests who stay in The Purbeck Annexe. The Locality This 1-bedroom Annexe is an ideal place to stay for its proximity to Poole Ferry Port (which is less than 2 miles) to watch concerts at Poole Lighthouse, the Pavilion or the BIC in Bournemouth. If you have loved ones in Poole Hospital or Upton Bay Care Home our property could be somewhere to get some respite from visiting. Hamworthy train station is less than 10 minutes walk, the bus route 8/9 is a 5-minute walk that will take you into Poole town centre. There are local shops and eateries even closer. The quality of every guest’s experience is vital to us, which is why we will ensure the home is presented to the very highest standard for your arrival. We are a modern, yet busy and active family, we are up and about by 6.30am each morning and when not working in our professional roles, we enjoy getting out and enjoying the beautiful surroundings here in Poole, Dorset. Things to do: if it's outdoor pursuits such as; cycling, kayaking to countryside walks, water sports on Sandbanks / Hamworthy Beach or lazy days on the stunning beaches along the coast you will never be short of something to do during your stay. You can also expect an attentive and responsive service during your stay, so should you encounter any problems or need advice or assistance, Amy & Baz will be on-hand to help. Contact details will be shared with you when you confirm your stay. Remember that the private access to the property is behind our home via Hercules Road (BH15 4JA). Please read the check in instructions where a second postcode is provided to help guide you. You have 1 allocated space within the private area. When you open the gates, please use the hook for 1 gate keep it open, the other gate you need to use the bungee provided. It is yellow and black hanging on the inside of the 2nd gate. Unclip the bungee then re-clip 1 catch to the front circular handle. Pull it around the lamppost and clip the other clip onto the handle. This will secure the gate whilst the car is parked. Ensure you remove the bungee each time you use it (Do not leave it hanging on the outside of the gate.) When exiting the property, always close the gate otherwise the wind will keep banging it whilst you are out and this will damage it. Equally, please ensure you close the garden gate too, either hook it back using the latch (this will secure it open) or bolt it (which will close it). There are plenty of spaces along the road to park, if there are 2 cars. We live onsite in our own property and are more than happy to help with any questions you may have. We are happy to socialise and be your guide / suggest places to visit, equally, this information will be provided in the property. Ultimately, this is your time away and we want you to spend it how you prefer, if it's privacy you want then with the private access you have and self-check in will afford you this luxury. We live at the end of the road in a quiet Cul-de-Sac. Rear private access to The Purbeck annexe is accessed via Hercules Road. Details can be found in the Check in information. Please avoid parking on the road as it blocks the neighbours access. We have a children's play park less than 5 minutes walk. Upton country park and Hamworthy Park / Ham common are all within walking distance. There are 2 pubs and a few cafe's within walking distance. We have kebab, chip shops and both Indian and Chinese takeaways that deliver. Lidl's, Coop, McColls are again within walking distance. Hamworthy train station is a short walk. The main bus route into Poole bus station is at the bottom of our road. Infants and young children: We are happy for your little darlings to stay however, we will not be held liable regarding their safety. Please read the below: 1) We do not have secured storage for cooking items and all household cleaning products such as; laundry detergents, medicine, and chemicals. 2) We do not have safety locks on the under sink cupboard that stores the above, it is your responsibility to minimise the safety risks if you feel it is appropriate, therefore please remove them out of the reach of your children.
