Country house near Ericeira beaches

House located in the very small and quiet village of Casais de Monte Bom and just ten minutes by car from the nearby beaches of Ribeira D'Ilhas, Coxos, São Lourenço, that are, since 2011, part of Ericeira World Surfing Reserve. 45 minutes outside of Lisbon. The house has one room with a couple bed and an extra bed in a living room. This second bed can be used as a single bed or as a couple bed. We have a very nice traditional kitchen open to the garden where you can seat outside and enjoy the sun and the fresh air of the countryside. In the kitchen, you can use the grill and possibly prepare some fresh fish from the fish market in Ericeira. We also have a wood oven where the most daring can make bread, cook pizzas or anything else. Sometimes we can provide help in that but, either way, you’ll always have a stove. As we have some fruit trees, we’ll probably greet you with some fruits of the season. You can use the garden where we have a table and some chairs, a small lawn, under a tree that makes a wonderfully fresh shadow in the summers and where we place a very relaxing hammock. This garden is shared with us as we live on the first floor. But we will be mainly entering and exit the house and most of the time there is no one home. The house is located near Mafra and Ericeira, and just ten minutes from the nearer beaches. Just 45 minutes outside Lisbon you can also get to Sintra in 40 minutes and Cascais in less than an hour. We strongly recommend hosts to come with a car as the village is poorly served by public transport. You will have my phone number and you can call anytime you need any information or help. The house is very poorly served by public transports and you should have a car to get to the house and to move around the region.
