Seaside Apartment - Bijou Borth Bunkhouse
The house is conveniently situated a minute's walk from the railway station, and two minute's walk from the beach, corner shop and bus stop. The accommodation is part of a characterful Victorian terraced property that was built alongside the railway station in the 1800s. It is light and airy, with space to accommodate up to eight guests. It is suitable for families/groups for seaside holidays. It is also suitable for residential workshops - e.g. creative writing, art, meditation, etc. The apartment has two bunkrooms -one has a set of double bunks plus optional 'fold-out' bed, and the other has one double bed and 3 singles in it. The kitchen is well equipped and the living room is spacious and cosy. There's a woodburner for those chilly evenings. Guests booking the entire bunkhouse -via the 'apartment' listing - will enjoy sole use of the whole space. There are enough beds for up to 8 guests, in two bunkrooms. Due to the additional risk of Covid19 transmission that must surely be associated with sharing duvets and pillows I am now asking guests to bring sleeping bags / bedding and pillows from home. It feels like the safest option for guests at the current time. . The kitchen, bathroom and lounge are all on the ground floor, along with one of the bunkrooms. (The other bunkroom is on the first floor). The house is just yards from the train station and the beach is at the other end of the street. I live above the bunkhouse and am on hand if guests need anything. Borth is a quirky little village, with the sea on one side and a peat bog on the other. We have pubs, cafes, shops, a beach, a peat bog, footpaths and trains. It's a great place to visit! There's adequate parking on the street if you come by car. The train station is conveniently located within yards of the house, and the bus stop is at the other end of the street. Buses and trains are fairly regular and pretty reliable -buses to Aberystwyth run every hour during the day and the trains run every 1-2 hours to Aberystwyth and Machynlleth. The trains run through the evenings.
