Walkers Retreat

The chalet is in a wonderful location on the common, perfect for long countryside walks, or just a short walk to a beautiful thatched pub. The Live & Let Live is less than 10 minutes walk away across the common - if you wander back at night don't forget to bring a torch! In the evening sit in front of the fire pit and gaze at the stars. Bromyard is 3 miles away, it is a quaint and traditional town and has a fabulous artisan baker, delicious deli and family run butchers. The chalet has a fabulous fitted kitchen with integrated dishwasher and washing machine. Combination microwave oven and double oven and has a built in fridge freezer. There is no gas on to the common and therefore the chalet is heated by electric underfloor heating, which gives a cosy ambient temperature throughout the property. The property has tiled floors throughout, so no need to worry about muddy paws if you bring your dog. We have dog towels if needed and an outside tap if they have wallowed in the mud or jumped into the lake over the road in Brockhampton Woods. The living room has a two seater reclining sofa and chair. There is a large flat screen T.V. We have provided some throws for cosy winter evenings, which we change for each stay. The bedroom has a handcrafted kingsize bed, unique upcycled drawers and bedside table and a french style wardrobe. The bed will be made up for when you arrive. The bathroom has a wonderful walk-in shower and heated towel rail, light up mirror and shaver point. All rooms have double doors out on to the patio and to the far stretching views of the Malvern Hills. We live close to the holiday accommodation and are more than happy to be contacted throughout your stay. There are five houses including ours on the part of the common you will be staying. We are situated at the bottom of track, which can be a little bit bumpy in places. We have no through traffic. There is a 5" step from the patio into the living and also the same into the kitchen. The doors inside are 30" wide. There are double doors into all rooms from the patio. The property is on one level once inside.
