Today, Villa Maria is divided into four duplex apartments, Villa Maria 1, Villa Maria 2, Villa Maria 3, Villa Maria 4 and this fully independent, cosy cottage. The cottage has its own entrance, a little garden surrounding, its own place to sunbath, but our guests may also have access to the garden of Villa Maria. Garden view. Villa Maria is located in Reno di Leggiuno, a little village with its own beach and with restaurants and pizzeria along the main road. Reno di leggiuno is on the sunny side of lake Maggiore, and the sun goes down exactly in front of Villa Maria, giving you spectacular sunset views. Surroundings: 10 minutes foot the Hermitage of Santa Caterina del Sasso. You can reach by foot Cerro, (5 minutes by car, 25 min. on foot)and the MIDEC, the International Museum of Ceramic Design with a permanent collection and temporary exibitions, workshops for children and ceramics courses. Laveno, Luino, Intra by car and Stresa, the Borromean Islands, Arona and the Switerland by ferry-boat. Lugano, Switerland, is only 50 minutes from Villa Maria, by car. Esiste un servizio di autobus che raggiungono Laveno, Cerro e Ispra con orari da consultare prima di partire. Villa Maria non ha parcheggio, ma si può posteggiare nel parcheggio davanti alla spiaggia o sulla strada provinciale. Da Laveno partono i battelli per Verbania, Intra, Isole Borromee, Svizzera.
