The Coach House Douglas

Welcome to the Coach House at the Old Rectory. It is a cosy two bedroomed cottage with a kitchen, bathroom and sitting room, situated beside our home. It has its own front door and its own patio with outdoor seating for guests to use. We have free WIFI and office facilities (printing, fax, photocopying) and we offer a laundry service (extra charge of €20 and please note that the laundry facilities are in our house, not the Coach House). For small children we have a high chair & travel cot. Our house and The Coach House are very private and quiet. We have lovely neighbours either side of us who have lived on the road for many years. We are a short walk to Douglas Village. The Coach House has its own front door and it's own patio that has outdoor seating which guests can use. The Coach House itself consists of a kitchen, sitting room, two bedrooms and a bathroom. It can accommodate four persons. The Coach House is adjacent to our family home. The Coach House has its own front door and a patio with outdoor seating. Guests are restricted from accessing the main house, the courtyard and the gardens behind it. Our guests should feel free to contact me on my mobile, or via the AirBnB channels, for anything they might need to better their stay with us here in Cork. I can help out as much as our guests need in terms of recommending places to visit or restaurants to eat in. Equally I am very happy to remain out of the way of our guests so that they have some privacy during their stay. Our home, and the Coach House, is situated on a private road of three houses, a mere 5 minute walk from Douglas Village. A taxi into the centre of Cork is approximately €10 and to the airport it is between €12 and €14 depending on the time of day. We are a fifteen minute car journey to Ringaskiddy port if you are taking the Brittany Ferries to France. Please note that we are not in Cork City. We are a fifteen minute drive from the center. However we are a five minute walk into Douglas Village which has many restaurants, bars, shops, grocery stores, fast food take outs etc Please also note that the best and most direct way to find our house is to use our Eircode T12 XAY7 in (Hidden by Airbnb) Maps. Apple Maps and Car Satellite navigation systems do not recognise our address oddly! We are also a family home and we do NOT allow parties or gatherings of any kind.
