Self catering. Fully equipped guest kitchen (shared with other guests). Twin or sprking (you chose!) shared shwr room - shared with one other room. Very comfy, nicely decorated with central heating, and hairdryer. Lovely lounge for private guest use (shared with other guests) with tv and access to the garden - seating/dining areas and lovely views.. (There is a dbl bdrm that shares the shower room and another dbl bdrm ensuite - see separate listings). I can accommodate 6 people in total. We converted the barn which is well over a 100 years old more than 20 years ago and it has been a much loved family home. There is one en suite double room, a double and a twin/super king (you chose) which share a shower room, the two double rooms have a tv. There is a guest entrance and a lounge for private guest use with a tv and french windows accessing the garden. There is a private guest kitchen with 2 ring hob, oven, microwave, fridge, freezer and a dishwasher making self catering easy. The garden has amazing views with various seating/dining areas. BBQ provided. We have our own areas in the garden. The only shared space with us is the stairway so you will mostly have complete privacy. There are 3 friendly dogs but we endeavour to keep them away from guests. There is car parking for one car at the door. Additional street parking. There is public transport a 5 min walk away - country bus service. The centre of Edinburgh is just over 20 mins away. There is a local pub serving food a 5 minute walk away and a nice family Italian restaurant a 5 min drive away. There are various supermarkets between a 5 or 10 minute drive away. I work from home in a separate office so will be mostly available to help out with any questions or assistance that you require but otherwise you will have the peace of private spaces. We are on the edge of the Pentland Hills with direct access from the garden to beautiful walks, cycles or fishing. There is a golf course less than a 5 minute drive away. Other nearby a dry ski slope (10mins) and Glentress Mountain Bike Trail Centre (30 mins). There is a pub serving food and a little cafe a 5 minute walk away and a lovely Italian restaurant a 5 minute drive away. There are local taxi services and buses. Local takeaways. There is a bus service for getting into town or local taxis. The centre of Edinburgh is only about 20 minutes away. We do have three friendly dogs but we endeavour to keep them separate from guest areas.
