Carindale Suite with City Views, Self Contained

Carindale Retreat is a self-contained modern guest suite in family home atop a hill overlooking Carindale, and out to Brisbane city. Alongside the open plan bedroom-dining-lounge area with city views, this suite has a separate kitchenette and bathroom. As well as this you'll enjoy the secluded patio space with your own outdoor table, chairs and gas BBQ. Great for business stays and stopovers. Firstly, Carindale Retreat has it's own private keyed entry from the outside, via a lock box, so you can come and go as you please. Parking and entry is via a quiet cul-de-sac. The main living area features a 3-seater leather sofa, coffee table, Smart TV with Netflix, dining table with 4 chairs, which can be used as a work-space, not that you'll notice because you'll be too busy gazing out the large windows at the city lights. The kitchenette comes prepared with a Nespresso coffee pod machine and milk frother, mini fridge & freezer, induction hotplate, 5L air fryer, microwave, kettle, toaster, egg cooker, sandwich press and all cooking utensils and crockery you'll need. Currently there's no oven. Whilst we will always try to keep noise to a minimum, we do want to make you aware that it's a bustling family home, and you might hear us before and after school and on weekends. Room comes with a Queen bed. We can also make up a single thick memory foam mattress on metal frame with bedding to accommodate a 3rd adult or child. Our family of 4 lives in the adjoining house, and we are happy to be contacted for any assistance or local advice. Otherwise, we are happy to leave you be. Proximity to Tourist Areas: - 15 min drive to Brisbane Airport - 20 min drive to Brisbane City and Southbank - 17 min drive to Manly bay-side - 50 min drive to Gold Coast - 1 hr 15 min drive to Sunshine Coast Lots to keep you busy nearby: - 1km walk will get you to our local convenience store, bakery, butcher, take-away shop, KFC, Subway, Liquorland and Gustos Pizza - 1.8km walk or 2 min drive will get you to Westfield Carindale with all the big name shops. - Directly across the road from Belmont Hills Reserve Bushland with walking trails, we urge you to try wallaby and koala spotting as we've seen a few. - Also a short walk down the hill will get you to the Bulimba Creek walking trails, and you can follow the flat bike path trail for kilometres, all the way up through Carindale Reserve and Minnippi Parklands Remember that the house is at the top of the hill, so if you're heading out for a walk, save some 'gas in the tank' to get you back home :D Or if you opt to stay in and not cook, know that you'll have access to a vast array of cuisines here thanks to Uber Eats, Deliveroo and Menu Log apps. Public Transport - Bus route 200 stops 150m from Carindale Retreat which runs straight to Westfield Carindale and then onto Brisbane City - The closest bus stop is called "Winstanley East" Car - Close to Gateway Motorway, and Old Cleveland Road - Street parking available
